If you can't instill a culture or establish an identity as a HC, you aren't going to last long. Wilks showed that you need to have a plan if you want to be successful, and he did not have a plan. It started with coaching staff hires, then on to scheme choices, roster evaluation, FA, the draft, installing the scheme, and in-season coaching. All areas were failures. Not all of it is his fault alone, but he obviously didn't know how to do what he wanted to do.

Which makes me wonder what the hell Steve Keim and Bidwill were thinking when interviewing him and listening to his proposed changes..
