I just meant he was right about him being better than we all had thought. He did go over board on how well he will play.Until Gabbert is back in Canton for his induction ceremony, he was nowhere close to right!
...dbs
He has an outside chance to make the team. He had a good half, not perfect, but good. Guy is likeable and has all the tools, if BA can salvage his career in AZ ... what story would that be ... maybe with a ring ...? Movie and HOF for BA instantaniously.
But, for that to happen there is a long way to go ... XD.
Gabbert did show that he has the better tools than Stanton and he is younger, now it comes down to, can he master the Offense that BA wants to run.
I think he is our #3 period with a shot at #2. I really doubt we cut him.
The offensive line gave him time.Steve Keim was on the radio this morning and talked about what he liked from Gabbert in the HoF game. Basically Keim said that when Gabbert played for Jax and SF he would tend to look at his first read and if it wasn't there he would take off running. However in Gabbert's first game with the Cardinals, he worked his way through his progressions and stayed in the pocket for the most part. That was the most encouraging thing about Gabbert's performance according to Keim.
The offensive line gave him time.
To me that does not matter because a QB which has had happy feet is constantly paranoid and will still act like the rush is upon him even when given time... I see progress for the kidThe offensive line gave him time.
