So far it looks like a 2018 first (protected), a 2nd, and Monroe (with expiring contract ) for Bledsoe.

So the pick IS protected? Are you freaking kidding me?? JFC!!! McD is a dumb MFer that needs to be caned Singapore style. F this clown.

Dude. Wow. Maybe a bit of over reaction here. You must have had your sites set pretty high.

This is a terrible deal, much like many of his other deals. The notion that we can have this guy behind the controls building a team for the future is folly. He’s unfit and unqualified to be a GM and needs to be fired.

1) What is the protection
2) And what are the chances Milwaukee actually missing the playoffs?

Many? I can only think of one other bad trade.

Again. Man. You are way over reacting. Whoever gets Bledsoe gets Rich Paul demanding a max extension this summer.

How soon people forget Lance Blanks and Lon Babbby.

Bucks are a flat out lock for the playoffs unless Giannis gets hurt

After calming down, I start to think the Bucks are not going to be in the lottery anyway. The pick is going to land in the mid twenties.

That's less than Gortat on an expiring deal or Markieff Morris or Dragic with 3 months left on his contract did net for the Suns.

If that's the return for the Suns, it's indeed the crowning of the moronic approach of McD (and probably or firstly Sarver) that thought that rebuilding was more or less over and started with the Knight-trade.
Those were all VERY good deals. This is just a normal deal.

I see it as addition by subtraction. Bleds gone. If Monroe outplays Len, then Lens gone. Chandler might be gone in a trade for??? Williams is coming back evenually. We now have a poop load of 1st & 2nds to move up in draft. Things are falling in place and Im satisfied.

Was hoping for Brogdon. But I'll take it. Monroe is not bad at all. And Bledsoe was that bad. Finally done with the Dragic...Isiah...Bled....years of this team. Feels good cause I do not want any of the 3 on my team. You all should be pumped.

What do you expect for bledsoe?;)
More than an expiring injured big man and a mid-1st rounder.

But this is definitely the first move in what will be a series of moves in the next couple months. NO WAY we go into the draft with 3 first rounders and 4 seconds. That would be stupid, I don't care how much you love this draft.

Not a great trade, as has been stated. Bledsoe should have had more value than that.

Uniquely protected? What does that mean? Protected for downside? Like if it's 20+ it conveys to next year or something?

For some reason I'm thinking this trade was made to set us up for more trades around the deadline.

We now have the following assets to trade around the deadline. Monroe, Chandler, Dudley, 2 1st round picks (the ones besides ours), and 2-3 2nd round picks (besides ours). Maybe even Chriss is in the mix.

Maybe some for a player, maybe some to move up in the draft (like a Nets pick), or for picks for future years.

Expiring contract along with Len = >23 mill cap space next season.

Which could grow if we make some more trades.

I think we're going to be busy at the deadline (or if any opportunity between now and then pops up).

And there you have it. Bledsoe was never that good, but because the Suns got him cheaply, this board wanted to imagine that they'd ripped off the Clippers, and made Bledsoe out to be more than he is. He was never going to fetch a lottery pick coming back.

Lol... McD couldn't even get a playoff team to drop protection on the pick? That's pretty pathetic.

His ass should have been moved in the offseason before throwing more egg on the FO's face.

And don't kid yourselves folks... if we ain't picking in the top 3 ourselves, all the mid-range first picks in the world ain't gone move us into superstar territory in the draft. Those first rounders don't carry the Dane weight first rounders do in the NFL.

Oh... and lol at that idea that Bled could get us Brooklyn's pick.

I would have traded Bled for a 2nd rounder. He sucked . 2 bad knees. The Suns should have tweeted We dont want you here right after his tweet. Hell I'm trading him straight up for Monroe. I give it 12 games before he's out with an injury
