Mainstreet is right, but another way Milwaukee could trade a 1st is if they decided to change the protection of the pick owed to the Suns. So if they wanted to move their 2020 pick, they'd have to remove protection from the 2018 pick, since they can't trade them back to back 2020 is the earliest pick they could move. However I think the Suns would need to agree to remove the protection also, but in that regard I'm not entirely sure. I know teams have lifted restrictions in the past in order to trade future picks though.

It seems like something similar happened with the first Miami pick owed to the Suns. I believe it was changed by agreement.

What's the protection on the Miami pick this year and next?

Top-7 this year unprotected next

This team is flat out garbage but there's at least three other teams that will be worse so we need to get lucky on lottery night.

Suns getting lucky, ha!

It's not in any way certain that the Suns won't end up being the worst team in the league.

But I could easily see them finishing with the worst record but still coming up fourth in the lottery. If anyone could do it, it would certainly be the Suns.

Although not optimal, fourth would be great!

We better not cut Monroe. He could be a key part of a trade at or near the deadline. A lot of things will change by then. I'd also like to see a little inside/outside game with him and Booker. As long as his attitude is good, Chriss and Bender could learn a thing or two from him.

Please keep this guy and give him a chance alongside Booker. It would be so nice, for once, to have a legit low post option. But knowing the Suns they'll just trade him for a future "asset" (useless second rounder) or outright waive him.

If you could combine Chandler and Monroe you’d have Anthony Davis.

I thought the banner was going to be changed, to remove Bledsoe? I remember someone saying something about that and submitting the new image but he's still up there.

I don't want him up there anymore. :madarms:

Given the frequency this team turns over they should just put a logo up there.

I agree. Don't want to look at his face any more.

It's a good graphic overall but putting Bledsoe up there was questionable at the time because I don't think anyone saw him being here any longer than the 2 years left on his contract. Should have gone with Barkley, Nash, and Booker. Maybe one of the older Suns from the 70's and 80's like Adams, Hawkins, Westphal, or Walter Davis. Going with Suns greats might keep it from needing changed.

Suns greats might be the safest option for the header. LOL

How about Hawkins, Barkley, Nash ... and Booker? Leaving Devin out would be saying the Suns best days are behind them.

Not sure why we wouldn't at least give Monroe a shot.
