Football coaches = dumbest sub population in the milky way. You could grab 32 people off the street and they'd have a higher combined IQ than that of the 32 NFL head coaches. Charles Woodson out with a shoulder injury, and yet, Aaron Rodgers still taking snaps. Meaning Whiz is only the second dumbest guy the stadium.

Oh C'mon Shane...

Yes Leinart sucks, that was a terrible throw and this game probably ended his career in AZ but Whisenhunt has acted very carelessly in this game.

No way Fitz/Boldin/Breaston should have stayed in the game as long as they have. For crying out loud Fitz played the whole 3rd quarter whne we were down 33-0 and Breaston is STILL in the game returning punts in the 4th quarter.

I am absolutely baffled as to what Coach thinks he's doing right now.

CORRECTION:

Fitzgerald is STILL in the game with 8 mins left in the 4th down 33-0 in a game that means nothing.

I have ALWAYS supported this coach and respect him and what he's done for our franchise but he is acting like a freaking idiot today.

Urban's blog says it's an ankle injury to Boldin. Not exactly good news but I was concerned it was a knee. Urban doesn't think it's serious.

So. matt should never hang a WR out to dry like that. Especially on a throw that shouldn't be especially difficult for an NFL QB.

It's tired to bash on one player as much as you do, I hope Matt gets cut so I don't have to see 10000 threads about how Matt caused the earthquakes in Bora Bora.

You seriously are lame with this constant bashing, you win, stop please.

It seems as though you feel smug in the "I knew this all along" way that you bash ML. Maybe that isn't the way you feel but it seems that it is to me.

You guys can think I'm "smug" all you want.

Im a Cards fan first and foremost! I root for Matt and root for him hard. Him succeeding is only HUGE benefit to us. I certainly don't root for him to fail.

But the blind support he gets on here after all the miserable performances is mind numbing.

He should be able to manage a game at this point in his career. I dont expect him to be Warner. But I do expect him to make accurate throws and not turn the ball over.

Not to mention the high 2 yard throw to TH that had him limping off after the hit he took.

Whisenhunt's plan to go half ass in an NFL game was a straight rookie mistake.

If you aren't going to show anything and you are only concerned about next week, then you pull all your starters and don't risk anything.

If you are going to play to win the third seed then you play to win the third seed consequences be damned.

Pick a side and stick with it. Playing half assed meant that we got the worst of both sides. We had injured players AND got embarrassed at home.

Further it was clear that we didn't give a damn about this game and the play was lackadasical, which only increases the chances of our players getting hurt. If the coach isn't trying to win, why the heck would the players?

So yeah...this week Whis is a feeb (whatever that means).

Sums up how I feel exactly. Ok if you don't want to go for the win but it appeared we didn't know what we wanted to do. Take out some but not all starters on D and keep in entire offense except for Warner. End up with more injuries than Green Bay and get our asses kicked to boot.

A bad plan that doesn't help us for next week.

I agree with this, now that I think about it.

Wiz even stated after the game he had 2 gameplans, 1 for a Vikes loss & 1 if they won. Bad move Coach, pick a side of the fence & go for it.

And this is something new? The Cards have developed a bad habit of taking the day off when they don't have something to play for.

They're soft. A finesse team that wins on talent employed in a proper scheme with proper motivation. They'll never win a smash mouth game for pride alone. Fortunately all the playoff games mean something and it doesn't look like we'll have a smash mouth game this post season.

Fine, then play all of the backups and save the starters. I am commenting on the plan more than the effort. Makes no sense to make a partial go at it in a game like this.

Bad move in my opinion.

I agree with Shane. Leinart almost got everyone of his WRs hurt today with some very poor throws. But Whiz should have also taken out the starters sooner.

I too believe that he has played his last game with the Cardinals. I'm curious as to who will be the #2 in the playoffs. Even though St. Pierre only has 5 career passes, he looked so much more confident out there.

For next season I would really like for the Cardinals to draft a project QB in the mid to later rounds and pick up Marc Bulger as the backup. I truly believe Bulger can still be an above average QB in this league once he heals up like Warner was able to and get his confidence back.

A coach can't pull everyone, this isn't college where you have a 70 man roster.

Chris Sanders nailed it.

Be consistent. Either go all out or bench everyone. I'd respect either decision. I prefer team health if there's little at stake. But there was something at stake today. We lost home field to Dallas.

The Colts' coach is hilariously inconsistent. He pulls his starters and gives up the quest to be undefeated. Then he PUTS THEM BACK IN this week. W.T.F.

Injuries to Welker, DRC, Boldin, Woodson, etc. All the evidence you need to justify the position of benching starters when it doesn't matter.

Fitz remaining in the game. Injury-prone Beanie remaining in the game. Boldin. Etc. Totally unjustifiable.

And we must cut Leinart immediately. I've seen so much more than enough, I can't take it.
