Boldin was in state of shock...

That was the FIRST time in the last two years that we EVER had a receiver that wide open... EVER!

He was so shocked that he was wide open and that the QB actually SAW HIM that he did SPAZ OUT... he did not slip, he just brain-cramped in the once is a career (in the NFL) opportunity to make a big play without wrestling the ball away from a DB or making a spectacular catch...look at video of his days in the NFL... NEVER been that open before and SEEN by the QB (see Josh McCown, Shaun King, John Navarre)

To me, if you want to show ONE play that is the essence of Cardinals football and what it is to be a Cardinals fan, you show the Boldin non-TD fall down from yesterday.

The fact that Warner got hurt just two plays later when he should've been on the sidelines watching a kickoff, with the lead in the game no less, just makes it the perfect play to explain to someone what it's like to root for this team.

I still remember the old days when a KO returner against SF decided not to pick up the ball thinking it was like a punt, SF pounced on it, first and goal at like the 2. That was hard to fathom. That was late 70's early 80's I think, can't remember who the guy was that blew it.

And there was one game years ago we botched and kicked off to start both halves, forget how but we screwed up the take the ball or defer thing I think they deferred and we chose to kick off.

Why did he jump for that ball?

He didn't slip. I had it tivo'ed and rewatched. He just spazzed out, jumped to catch for no reason at all, and than fell down.

There was no slip.
If he had just caught it and ran he would'nt have fallen in MHO.
