"The recent history of metacarpal fractures in the NBA", a read from 2014. Kind of worried a bit regarding his hand, but we don't know the full details of the injury and repairs.

I'm sure it's not Devin Booker, who said that if the Suns don't start making the playoffs, he wants out.
Tough for him to stand behind those words when he’s going to start the season on the sidelines.

I don't believe he said quite that. He said he didn't want to miss the playoffs any more, I don't remember an actual ultimatum though.

Yeah doesn't make sense coming from someone who signed a $158m contract.

I think he made the comment during the playoffs, I just don't think there was an "or else". And there was a followup with Booker where he made it clear that he was just talking about how he was going to approach the season.

Right, but he's no dummy, even during the playoffs, he knew he would be offered an extension. So it's not like he was saying that out of contract.

He made the comment at the end of the season. He said nothing about wanting out. He said he was tired about not making the playoffs and was putting the responsibility on himself.

There still seems to be lingering questions about Booker's hand injury. This should clear it up.

There is a radio interview with McDonough at this link as well.

“As you guys know he did have the injury late last year,” McDonough said, referring to a lingering issue for Booker during the end of the 2017-18 season for which he missed the final 12 games. “There were no symptoms over the summer. The hand died down, it calmed down a little bit, it looked good, there was nothing structurally wrong with it.”

The Suns had players working out and playing pickup games. This is when the injury worsened.

“Just in one of those games, the hand swelled up,” he said. “There was no trauma that we could see — it wasn’t like he hit it or jammed it or anything stood out unusually while he was playing. The hand just swelled up.”

This guy needs to wise up. I know it's not a mess now BUT:

scuffle involving Ulis, I know he didn't do anything but remember its about character and who you're hanging with and what you're all involved in. Criminals and drugs users are in the situation they're in because of choices.

Again...linked to Kardashian. It's about who you're fraternizing with. And they're about a specific lifestyle, going out, being in the public eye, partying dancing etc.

And now the hand...how the heck does it start swelling up a year later? And as posted, its usually when someone punches something.

This may seem over the top but there are some small red flags that are coming up. He needs to start making better choices.

Now caught speeding, failure to pay and show in court???

Literally every photo radar. I broke this down in another thread. You absolutely shouldn't pay it and see if you get served or not.

Booker is a kid....let's not forget that. He's a good kid, who has a buttload of money and is now living the celebrity life. I'm not worried about him yet.

Yep I agree. Its known here in az that unless its an actual person/officer or getting served that its best not to outright pay and admit guilt.

I shouldn't have used "caught".

I've been photographed on photoradar probably 20 times, especially on Lincoln. Never paid any of that non-sense.

Lincoln is the worst and so is Tatum going going north. It’s all the snoody rich people that complain about cars speeding. All you have to do is complain about it being unsafe for kids and they’ll post those photo vans up and down the hill. I hate ppl sometimes.

Also, the speed limits on both roads through the town of Paradise Valley are very low.

And the only roads that go from Phoenix proper to the Paradise Valley area of Phoenix are Cave Creek Road, the 51 and 44th St./Tatum Blvd.

I say again that the speed limits on McDonald, Lincoln and Tatum in the town of Paradise Valley are lower than just about anywhere else in the Valley. Coincidence?

I have gotten one speeding ticket in the Valley and that was about 25 years ago. On Tatum in the town of Paradise Valley. And I was doing the same speed that I was on the Phoenix end.

Whenever I take Tatum, I stay in the right lane no matter what and crawl. It's not natural, Steve. :pullhair:

I got served.

Yeah, if you get served you're kinda screwed. A buddy of mine had been ducking a camera ticket for months, then his GF answered the door and signed for it, she figures out what it was, doesn't tell him thinking he'd be okay if he didn't know. He only found out when his insurance let him know his license had been flagged for suspension.

I drive a jeep and the tire on the back blocks cameras from seeing my plate. It is at juuuuuust the right angle to keep the last 2 digits from being seen.

It sometimes pays to go to court. If the officer doesn't show up, you usually get off... used to be that way, at least. Have to have a resonable explanation. If its a school zone violation you probably won't get off.
