Who cares if he would started in SF, Matt wouldn't have done anything better then he's doing here so far.

The relevance is you think he's a bust in part because he couldn't win the job in Arizona by year 3. The point is if he were in SF he would have already had the job handed to him, like Smith did. Smith didn't win the job he was given it, played like crap, and then finally had the job taken from him.

Because the Cards have a better QB situation they were able to avoid just throwing Matt to the wolves, but it's also MUCH tougher on Matt to win the job because he has actual competition, Smith didn't.

And Sf isn't the only place like that just look at the Raiders, would Jamarcus Russell start ahead of Kurt Warner?

Wrong!

You guys can take all the shots at Alex Smith and call him a bust a million times. I could care less because I never wanted to draft the guy in the first place and hated the pick from day one.

Braylon Edward is who I wanted in 05, not some gimmick spread offense QB from Utah.

Just like you don't care what we think about your QB we could care less what you think about ours. Like most outside observers who don't follow the team you just think whatever national media and Sportscenter feeds you. If you actually, you know watch the games and follow the team, you would realize the situation is not as dire as you think. He had a bad game sandwiched inbetween 3 good games. And he looked better in those 3 games then Smith has EVER looked. So we are not worried.

Like I said we could care less about you lack of insight and opinion on the situation and I can't wait to kick your (derogatory term for behind ) on Sunday!

I don't need a Niner fan around to look silly.

If you actually debated you original point, and didn't start grabbing for anything you could to make it seem like you are right then you would see you are making less and less sense, and bring up more and more different topics with each post.

Will this debate eventually end with you stating the sky is blue, and walk away from your computer fullfilled with rightiousness.

Do you even read whole sentences ? .....I guess not since the Niners aren't known for patience.

What part of "soon enough" did you not understand ?

soon - http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/soon

enough - http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/enough

So to break it down for you a little more, no need to strain one's self, that would mean WHEN (still with me), WHEN Leinart is starting for this team, he will then be able to be on the field to pound your team into dust.

Don't worry at that point you will probably have jumped off the bandwagon wondering why you ever started JT Sullivan, and how Alex Smith is playing so well with another team.

I pity your optimism, it's really sad. You can have all the patience in the world, that's not going to turn Matt into a good starting QB anytime soon. Matt's not getting any better holding the clipboard on the sideline watching Kurt win games.

Alex Smith playing well with another team, lol. You tell me how many spread option from the Shotgun QB's in college have been successful in the NFL?

Smith is so bad he was only completing 42 percent of his passes against second string defenses in preseason.

Steve Young did it afer looking much much worse. So has Derek Anderson. So, has Tony Romo.

And the list goes on and on.

Yeah it's just too bad the Cards let the horrible 49ers sweep them last season. Those two wins and your in the playoffs, ouch choke job.

You are right about that.

You can't call a team with the J.T. Sullivan to Skillet Johnson connection horrible.

You just can't

Actually that's pretty Irrelevant, because theirs a huge difference between just starting and actually producing while starting. Matt will be doing neither for the time being with the Cards.

Why Smith continues to be thrown in the conversation is really irrelevant. His situation with Matt's is night and day even though both are Busts.

Would Jamarcus Russell start ahead of Kurt Warner?

It's possible with Boldin and Fitz to throw too.

So Boldin and Fitz would help Russell more than they would Warner?

Gotcha.

Then why ask the Question?

WHAT QUESTION ?

I know the drug laws in SF are laxed but seriously, what sense, if any, are you making right now?

Need a question? Ok here is a question.

Here you go:
When traveling at a subsonic speed during the last one hour of hypersleep, which vector of the Romulan nebula will suffer the wrath of the impenetrable quickening? And for extra points, how many wraths till the nearest molton? Be specific, this is a real question.

Ok, Ok I see now why you are a niner fan...you know nothing about football. J.Russell wouldn't have a prayer of winning a QB comp against Warner, keep talking your becoming more ignorant by the minute. Wow just wow, Leinart is a bust because he got beat out by a savy vet who has also been mvp and won superbowl...hmm, yeah thats just one of the dumbest arguments for someone being a bust EVER! Geesh I guess with the season coming I had better get used to the morons coming over and spewing trash again, gotta love that.
