I have given Braylon a ton of crap for all of his drops, but at this point I would take him in a heart beat considering our #2 situation. Had a solid season last year, don't think he had as many drops either. Well, besides that one that hit him in the facemask in a primetime game.

Told TJ this, this morning after reading Kerry Rhodes tweet. In fact I might have put Jurecki on it, because i tweeted him and Kerry about it and the an hour or so later he came up with the "surpise name" tweet.

Would love this signing. Great #2.

Cue Ed and Cheese: But his hands are terrible! ;)

Same Ol Cards my butt. Steve Breaston LMAO

I feel like a kid on XMas.

If this deal happens they are putting Kolb in a position to succeed. There will be no excuses not to retake our rightful place ON TOP OF THE NFC WEST!!!!

Oh man. Fitz, Braylon, Heap, Beanie and Ryan Williams starting with Doucet, Roberts, Stucki, Housler, King, and Hightower as depth?

Thats the best offense we have had all the way around IMO. Wow. Wiz promised us agressive and we are getting aggressive.

I'll say it again in this thread: I'm amazed the Cards are even considering a guy who blew twice the legal limit and got a DUI during the season last year. Not to mention his previous brushes with the law.

If this happens, it's 100% proof that Bill Sr has NOTHING to do with player selection any more.

This is kind of ironic. Wasn’t Braylon Edwards traded to the Jets by Cleveland for Chansi Stuckey?

boy's got skills, double up Fitz pay the price. I like it.
Doucett had some good catches in the 09 playoffs, I still think He's a big factor.

I still believe we need another piece to the puzzle with a quality OT signing!

Agree on an OT. Still need an OLB/pass rusher, I'd say.

Or - do you all think that the coaches have enough faith in Coach Horton's new defensive schemes to keep the FO from signing any more players?

If Edwards is signed them I'm guessing that remaining cap space will go to
re-signing Fitz and hopefully CC.

Mike Jurecki of XTRA Phoenix reports that the Cardinals are "working on a deal" with free agent Braylon Edwards.

Jurecki cautions that "it could fall through," but expect the Cards to be considered among this year's biggest free agency winners if they close this deal. The addition of Edwards would give Arizona perhaps the most dangerous one-two punch of receivers in the NFC, along with Larry Fitzgerald. It makes sense for the Cards to jump into the Edwards bidding with his market moving slowly.

This would be amazing. With Heap at TE and Edwards as a legit deep threat Fitz would have tons of room to work with.
