Throw could have been better. But Steve HAS to catch that. Was totally catchable.

Funny how all our guys are dropping balls this yr, when last year they caught everything... The QB stinks.. you need to hit your WR in stride there..

It wasn't a good throw. That is true. but it was a completely catch able ball its as simple as that. In that situation Breaston still needs to make the catch. the are both culpable in that play.

It was tipped at the line by Seymor. You can see it on the replay.

Think what you like about DA but Breaston should have made this catch. That's why receivers get paid. The ball is not always on the money.

Lots of WRs catch the ball off their pads or cradle the ball between their pads and their hands. Throws "between the numbers" are often caught this way.

Anderson has a history of throwing the ball off the receiver's hip on a crossing route. Feel your hip, feel how hard it is? The ball will bounce right off a WR's hip and it's really difficult to body catch that kind of pass.

While I still agree with you Breaston should've caught it, Anderson should've thrown the ball in front of him and made him catch up to it. Of course, when DA does this it's generally an overthrow so I think we're screwed either way!

In that situation DA needs to make the throw on the money. He was wide open and even if he couldn't hit him on the numbers, throw the ball a little ahead of Steve, not behind. DA has no touch whatsoever and you can't win with a qb who can't throw accurately.

The more I read your posts the more I think you don't know as much as I thought. Or, you just say things to stir people up. I hope it's the latter.

I don't disagree about the throw. But anyone claiming that it wasn't catch able and should have been caught needs their head examined.

We need wide receivers with Kardashian hips. :D

Todays ugly win shows there is a lot more wrong with the team than just DA.

I know you were all being sarcastic.

But that text is maddening to even look at jokingly.

Anderson is pretty bad.....more like just bad. He is exactly what his career stats say about him.

If Anderson has potential, I don't see him reaching it. Today not only was he innaccurate, but just dumb with the football. No composure, etc., etc.

Leinart had better been as bad as Whiz thought because right now he should be thinking about putting Hall in. Anderson is not going to really DO, much better than we have seen.

EDIT: And this all has nothing to do with the tipped pass. Which doesn't matter when there is another 5 or 6 throws that were horrific. My favorite was the duck he threw to ?FITZ? off the roll out. I looked like if one of the cheerleaders threw it left handed.
