One of the shows I watched today(maybe PTI?) was talking about Warner's agent. He said he always advises his clients not to sign before free agency and to go out and test the waters. Then they went on to mention Chicago (terrible idea--minimum 9 games outdoors--Chi 8 + 1 in GB) and Minnesota as possible destinations.
Chicago plays San Francisco, Seattle, Baltimore & Cincinnati on the road in 2009 as well.

If Kurt plays, he should be a Cardinal as long as the bidding doesn't get too crazy. Kind of funny because when we signed him weren't we the only team that seriously negotiated with him? I know the Bears negotiated but dragged their feet.

I was watching the NFL network tivo last night of media day and on one question he was asked he answered it as if he'd be here a couple more years.

There was no hesitation in fact he inserted it into the conversation just matter of factly that they had the chance to be good for a couple more years.

I think he's staying.

I have come to my personal conclusion that I want Kurt to resign with the Cards. We just would not taste a shot at a superbowl next year without him. Matt will need time to grow into his position.

Just losing a QB like Kurt and replacing him with basically a rookie is enough in itself to make it very difficult to repeat.

This remains the greatest football year in the history of the Cardinals for me. It remains a complete mystery to the rest of the world. An underdog from the start of the season right up until the superbowl.

Probably true, but to be fair, did anyone on this board REALLY think we had a shot at the SB with Kurt going into the season? As great as Kurt is, there are a few things Matt does better. Losing Haley on top of Kurt would definitely decimate our O, but I think if Haley stays he will find a way to make Matt be a successful NFL QB.

That is the biggest, yackiest, naggiest media hog in sports. If I were Warner and had to spend any more time than 2 hours with that yenta, I would snap.

Banned? Ha ha, do you think he ever realized his login was really close to "Steelers Suck"
