Well after Kurt Warner....... at least take a look! there is nothing wrong taking a look, Bartell is weak throwing back across the field, He has some good things sure, but that is a deal breaker in this offense.

Kolb is a good all around QB, except turnovers, but is not great at anything. And He's playing safer and smarter right now. Once he gets comfortable driving, Is when he might get into a wreck!

We can get better at QB on all levels, Skelton and Max hurt, shows the need!

He graded high with street cred...because that's where he was...on the street.

He is not good and is just taking a spot until Skelton and/or Hall are good to go.

Hall will be getting some street cred soon too I bet.

well

actually the ball threw hall 40 yards, and his Whiz fell off! But he was only in for a few plays? I missed it?

How did Hall injure himself? Threw the ball more than 40 yards and his arm fell off? I kid I kid :)

The Cardinals just need a third QB to help carry the load in preseason with Skelton and Hall out. I don't think the Cardinals are looking for him to make the regular season roster. So I'm glad if he can help keep Kolb and Bartel healthy.

Hall messed up his shoulder and is out for a while, and Skelton is walking around in a boot at camp. So we only have 2 QB's. Croyle is a camp body unless he has the best 3 days of practice ever... Just there for reps till Skelton gets the boot off, I think Hall was about to be cut either way.

Most of those 10 losses came when the Chiefs were horrible.

He's not that bad.

In fact I've always thought he might be the real slow learner type, anyhow for a number three he's perfect.

Who is excited?

Me.

We could use a little bit of experienced backup depth.

I remember seeing him a year or so and thinking to myself that there might be something there. I wonder why the wheels came off the track.

Gotta believe that Tod Haley put in a good word.

The Croyles are tertiary family friends. His father is family friends with people who own a horse ranch out here. Brodie very briefly considered Arizona State, but from what I'm told, the summer heat freaked him out. Not that he was ever actually going to anyplace but Alabama, but still ...

He's a "r word", I'll tell you that. I'm surprised he didn't try out for a more special team.

Huge arm though. But he throws 40 yards bullets to guys five feet in front of him.

Croyle has a cannon and quick feet. He has average accuracy.

He's not good at reading defenses quickly and he lacks "it."

He's a "meh" quarterback besides his absolute cannon.

Exactamundo (homage to the Demolition Man reference in the Schofield thread).

He's also frail as Don Knotts.

Upgrade over Hall at least.

Well, since Brodie is going to be here for a couple of weeks, I hope he brings his wife with him. For those couple of weeks anyway.

Let's not forget that a no.4 QB isn't just here to take snaps, push guys ahead of him on the depth chart etc.

He's also insurance in case of injuries that could sideline one or more of the other 3 guys.

As a Chiefs fan, my greatest fear last year would be Matt cassel getting hurt, then Brodie Croyle spraining an ankle running out to the huddle, leaving us with Tyler Palko(who?).

You could blow on the guy and fracture ribs.

Actually, I liked Palko.

(He reminds me of Hall).
