I don't like it when players say that they are the best, or that they are going to lock somebody down, or whatever. I bet Steve Smith will give that tiny little bit of extra effort this week just to make Peterson eat his words. Last time Peterson got touted before a game, Megatron scored twice on him. They should keep quiet and let Peterson's play speak for itself.

I don't buy into this type of thinking that a guy is going to play harder because his opponent said to the media how good he thinks he is. As for the Megatron 2 TD game that you are referring to that probably had a lot more to do with the fact that Megatron is just that good and will occasionally have games like that against even good corners.

consistency...

PP could very well be the greatest CB in the game.

#!? Hardly

#3 easily argued

Top 10? Ya, I would say probably...

What are we evaluating though? He caught 2 picks against a rook in his first start. Big F'n deal.

Does he have potential? YES
Could he be the #1? yes

Is he consistent? NO
Does he run his mouth too much?

Haha... I wish he would just **** and play; seems like we could easily
loose him to FA the way this is going down... But I bet the cards lock him up..

All the talk is money right now. Everyone relax and see it for what it is.

PP already has a reputation in this League, thus the League's QBs tend to know where he is at all times. Honeybadger isn't getting the same attention yet, and he has stepped up. The plays where we get serious pressure on the QB are the plays PP can shine now. He is really good at reading where the ball is going when the QB scrambles, sometimes he even leaves his man early to go get the ball or just to bait the QB into throwing it. Best in the League? That answer IMO literally changes every week, but he is damn good.
