A-Dub and Buddha has grown on me the last 2 seasons. A Dub was a bigger playmaker as opposed to just a pure tackling machine. His 20+ sacks and 20+ ints show that… I think only two other players in NFL history have done it right? Buddha will never come close to either…. Where do they stack up on forced fumbles as well?

In their career Adrian Wilson has 16 forced fumbles to Buddha’s measley 1. Wowza….

Buddha isn’t on pace to match Adrian in turnovers or sacks not even close…. Even overall tackles for loss he’s trailing adubs pace….

It’s clear Adrian Wilson was by far the bigger play maker when it came to game changing plays.

How Buddha even has 4 votes is kinda bizarre has to be recency bias.

A-Dub. That single tear running down his cheek as confetti poured down around him after winning the NFC Championship is an indelible image that will live in my head forever.

But Budda has really grown on me the last couple years. Giving his heart and soul in a year where other leaders… uh… have not… has bumped him up in my estimation.

I take A-Dub, but could see Budda surpassing him in a couple of seasons

No one is in Wilson's zone. A better poll is Money Badger versus Baker

Exactly. Anyone picking Baker just has recency bias. Wilson was a better play making all around safety. Their stats aren’t even close. If JUST tackles are your thing I guess maybe. It’s Wilson far and away.

Yup. Two different skill sets. Budda is a Troy Polamalu clone, Adub was a tough enforcer-thumper. Apples to oranges.

Ummm Buddha is nothing like Polamalu. Literally nothing. Polamalu could cover and was a turnover creating safety. Forced fumbles etc…. The only thing Buddha is really good at is diagnosing where the ball is going and making the tackle with a quickness. He’s not that good in coverage and pretty lacking at creating TO’s and forcing fumbles.

Different styles of play, and budda is a certified DAWG - but adub all day. He made his presence known every game he played in.
