he talked to Fassel about 15 min. ago.
he is in NJ...just left Buffalo.
Fassel told him not to be believe what you read in the paper. Said Fassel likes az and he perhaps would like to come here - but nothing is for sure..

I did not know alex gibbs lives in Phoenix...and is available for next season...he wants back in full time as oline coach - his health is better and the Broncos filled his former spot.

Shanahan announced it yesterday, Rick Dennison is the OL coach. Shanahan says he wants to find a way to keep Gibbs but is not sure he can, there's a thread from yesterday about it.
Gibbs would be a nice hire here IMHO.

This is sure one confusing thread........."Bugel says he is the O-Line coach in Washington"...........who is the new HC in Washington that hired Bugel?
"Joe Gibbs called at 1:45 pm and asked if he's ready to go"...........are we to assume then that Gibbs has signed on and if so why hasn't it been reported elsewhere?
Fassel says "don't believe all that you read in the papers"......outside of the fact that he has been on a country wide interviewing junket, what else has appeared in the papers.
If Malarkey is interviewing in Buffalo, what does this say about Fassel's inside track to the Bills job and that it's his if he wants it?

Wasn't trying to critisize your post pinnacle rather to share my complete confusion.......and yes, I see that Gibbs in on board at Washington.............but I had only read allusions to this and not fact.............my error.........sorry
no problem.....and yes - there seem to be alot of conflicting reports from various media outlets..My theory is that agents leak rumors and other misinformation in order to make it look like everyone wants their guy....
our favorite banned poster is on KDUS now. aside from saying Rod Graves is completely awful...he said if we do not get Denny Green no one will come here...

unless Romeo is unexpectedly hired by someone, I think he would jump at the chance to coach the Cardinals. He would take the jump to head coach.
