Markkanen still has room to put on weight.

Robin Lopez looks to have mastered that hook shot near the rim.

The lack of effort tonight by everyone not named Ayton, especially by Booker, is astounding.

This is losing culture at its worst.

I don’t know how many times lately I’ve seen Booker go to the right side, fade behind the backboard and try to finish with the left.

Ayton doing pretty well offensive but getting schooled by Robin Lopez repeatedly. Bender did better on him.

I know we're missing half our team but the effort should still be there.

I'm afraid that without Holmes, Oubre and Johnson the Suns don't have enough players who give enough effort. Guys like Bender and Bridges give effort, but their effort is not contagious. JJ plays hard. The rest of the guys look like they don't even want to be on the floor.

I guess the bright side is we don't need to have another tanking debate break out. If the Suns can come back and pull this one out they deserve it, screw the ping pong balls. I don't see it happening but I bet Oubre's agent is watching somewhere pretty happy right now. Seeing this effort without him, and Johnson to a lesser extent, says a lot about what he's added to this team. This is November/December Suns all over again.

Igor also need to tell Ayton to overplay Lopez on the right side. Lopez has one shot in his arsenal- a baby hook going right. Force him to the left and he can't do anything.

I like Oubre a lot and I like what Holmes and Tyler bring as well but of those 3 the only 1 who should be counted on is Oubre. The other 2 are nice end of the bench players, 8th and 9th men in a rotation at the most. Imagine if we replaced them with players in the next tier up. For Holmes that would probably be Robin Lopez and for Johnson that would probably be an Avery Bradley type of player. Add Lopez and Bradley to Oubre, Booker, Ayton, Bridges, Jackson, and Warren and that's a playoff team or a team fighting for a playoff spot, at least.

If Ayton needs to be told how to guard Robin Lopez we have more problems than anyone has touched on this year.

It's nice to see Bridges looking to score inside tonight.

Robin Lopez annihilating Suns. He is 10-12 from the field.

He just forced him left and Lopez turned it over.

I hope he figured out how to do that on his own. That was where I was headed with it. Sure, Igor could tell him but it's Robin Lopez, I doubt his own coach knows his go-to move on offense. He's competent on offense but makes his money on the defensive side.

Oh there is no doubt in my mind the coaching staff told him in the halftime. I am not even giving Ayton crap- it's a rookie thing.
