It is amusing how en vogue it is right now for these national writers to give max credit to Ishbia for everything that happens.

Hopefully Matt can make some personal calls to referees too.

I think he is getting a lot of credit for simply not being Sarver.

And it appears at least some players(or at least former players) agree with the sentiment many of us shared that Sarver was a detriment to recruiting players and the more people are going to want to be here now.

if you look at the stats Shamet is actually having a better year than Ross.

hopefully he has another gear he gets to now that he is on a good team.

I love the Ross signing. My best guess is that we end up converting Ish’s 2-way into the final roster spot.
Agreed. I'm ok with this but would have preferred someone with more defensive chops but beggars cant be choosers in this environment.

He would be my top target right now after getting Ross.

Johnson would be good but he's a career 30% 3pt shooter with only 40 attempts this year. he's 18 of 40 however so this would be his career high at 45%. I prefer Ross by a wide margin I think.

It's not an either or. We can still sign sign 1 more player after signing Ross. I was leaning towards Thaddeus Young before but with Johnson being bought out I think I'd rather gamble on him as a bigger SF/PF combo given age.

What about Ish and Saben Lee?

The Suns will have a decision to make soon about Ish Wainright as the number of NBA games allowed on a two-way contract are about to expire. If they continue to play him beyond the allotted number of games they will have to sign him to a regular contract. The same rules apply to Saban Lee.

The Suns roster will stand at 14 players when they sign Terrence Ross to a regular roster spot.

Maybe I'm glad we didn't get Barton.

Here are the league's worst defensive ratings this year.

Yikes.

Surprised Bones Hyland is that bad. He seemed pesky to me when watching them, but maybe he was pesky in the way Oubre was... gambling the passing lanes and ignoring rotations and anything behind his back.

There's a few surprising names on there like Saddiq Bey and Keldon Johnson. I notice a number of Rockets also which points to a total team issue. Also our boy Jalen!

Yeah, when there are a bunch of guys from one team, it's probably a scheme problem, or a team running a bunch of raw kids together. When there is ONE guy that low on the list and none of his teammates, it says a lot, especially if it's a veteran. That guy is either awful or checked out.

I am wondering if the development of Okogie made the Durant trade a little more palatable. That kid plays some incredible defense. He is not the offensive player that Mikal is and certainly not the shooter that Cam is, but then you are adding KD to the line-up.

Miami a potential landing spot, per Shams.
