"There indeed has been talk of scuttling the Wonderlic test after some of the scores turned out a bit too good to be true. Rumor has it a few clever agents somehow obtained copies of the exam and fed the correct answers to their players. No one is naming names, but fairly or unfairly, there is such a shroud of suspicion about some scores that several teams, including the Bears, list a zero by the names of some players instead of accepting their marks. "We're not minimizing when a guy does really well that he isn't intelligent,'' Angelo said, "but some of those scores, you roll your eyes about because there are so few that can score to the marks that some of these guys are getting. Go back over 20 years, and it's a small percentage."
