C. Golden's Projected 53--Looks Good

In order to be placed on a practice squad the player first has to clear waivers. I know that if the player is named to a practice squad then he must be made one of the 53 active players by the team claiming him.

My question is if a player is picked up from waivers must he be placed on the active roster of the team picking him up? Could he be placed on the aquiring teams PS?

I read somewhere that he's looking good on special teams but they don't really know how he fits into the regular defense.
