Mar. 14—ST. PAUL — No. 6 seed Caledonia finished its season with an impressive 69-63 win Friday over No. 4 seed Sauk Centre in the Class 2A girls basketball tournament fifth-place game at Gangelhoff Center.
The Warriors were locked in a 24-24 tie at halftime before taking off.
Caledonia (28-4) got another balanced effort offensively. Aubrie Klug had 19 points, Elsa Blum 18 and Josie Foster 14. Sienna Augedahl chipped in nine.
The Warriors dominated the glass, outrebounding Sauk Centre 37-22. Klug led the way there with 12 rebounds. Augedahl added 10.
Sauk Centre got 30 points from Cierra Kortan. It finished its season 27-4 overall.
