Only one way to find out and I have to wait until Thursday.

Wednesday I'm driving to the big town so I can purchase a hard drive and get the maps.

At first I thought it might've been the internet connection, on Thursday and Friday we had a huge blizzard that caused power outages around town.

But my connection is back to normal as of Saturday and I haven't had problems otherwise.

BTW love the M16 with the ACOG scope. I've had better sniping experiences with that as I can fire at will and there is less recoil.

The overkill perk kinda sucks. It seems as though a lot of people use juggernaut and when I tried overkill I used the R700 for sniping and AK47u for CQ. It took 3-4 shots with the R700 to bring most down.

I even shot a dude twice in the head and moments later he took me out.

Juggernaut from what I understand, doesn't work on the head........

Ditto. I use this setup quite a bit.

With the three round burst it reminds me of the battle rifle on Halo.

I have decided to not use the ACOG much at all until I am done "prestiging." I want to get the XP points from using the different guns....

I try to use different guns and setups for different maps.
My "scope" class has the M16 w/ACOG and the bandolier perk.
I use it when I need a longer ranged weapon without using a sniper.

I just unlocked the G36 but I suck with it right now. I can't see anything with the standard sights.

Do you really run out of bullets with the M16? I rarely do. I would think claymores would be better to protect yourself, like a sniper would.

The G36 is an ok gun, the power of a sub machine gun, without the firerate. The G3 is the worst gun in the game. Pretty sure the pistols are more powerful.

I dont like jugg or grenade launchers, everything else I can deal with.

PS: I hate campers.

I use juggernaut on Wetworks, Shipment, and sometimes Chinatown, oh and Showdown as well. With the amount of grenades thrown I'm sure it has saved my butt many times. It just makes sense to use it when people are lobing 3 grenades all the time.

If I play a sniper I camp... take a shot or two and move to another KOA... Rinse repeat until the other teams run and gunners take me out. It's part of the game. Unless you are refering to those who sit in a corner waiting for someone to walk by. Yeah that kind of annoy's me too.

I'm definitely a run and gunner. I have done so well on the creek map being the long sub machine gunner in a map full of snipers.

snipers are fine, im talking about someone who sits behind a dumpster for the whole game waiting for people to run by. I am run and gun to the core, I play to have action and fun, when the whole team hides i just get pissed.

Got the new maps. So far I've only played in Creek and Chinatown. I have yet to see the other 2.

Creek is crazy. Snipers galore. Chinatown is pretty fun. I have much more success there than in Creek.

I'm just not that good at sniping. I don't do it enough to be effective. There are times I am convinced that I should be hitting someone, and it doesn't. It frustrates me to no end.

I'm trying to complete the challenges for the M21. That is a terrible sniper rifle. Usually take 2-3 shots (unless you can get a headshot) to take somebody out.

2-3 shots for a sniper and you're position is compromised.

I've been hanging out in this house with a partial roof and a bathroom where you can snipe from too.

I take shots from the roof, hide in the bathroom and wait for them to finish throwing 'nades or run into house to go upstairs. Usually then Ishank'em like my name is Pooky.

I had a good one last night... On 'Creek' I was down in the creek looking towards the ridge to the right of the the house all blown to crap. I had just taken out a sniper through the brush, then a run and gunner, then another enemy sniper must have not been paying attention because he walked into my sites and I got an easy head shot from about 30 yards!

Just came out of my scope turned slightly left (from where the sniper originated) to see another 'run and gunner' bearing down on me. He felt the cold steel of my K-bar and then I boogied because we started spawning on opposite sides!!!

One of my better moments!!!

CoD5 officially announced as Call of Duty: World at War. Its a return to WWII (pacific theater), and will be done by Treyarch (CoD3) rather than Infinity Ward (CoD1,2,4) although it runs on the same engine as CoD4. Consider me underwhelmed. 4 player co-op through Xbox Live sounds cool though.

4 player co-op is interesting. I have wished there was a better Pacific WW2 game than there was. This should have been COD4, and the modern COD5 and beyond though. Going back seems to be counter-intuitive.

Oh, and I didn't get as much out of double XP weekend as I wanted to.
