Sabotage, Team deathmatch, Domination are all good games. The only problem is your team mates. If they don't talk you die more often then you need to.

With a broken headset, I can't chat at all.

headset is a must have.

The rpg element to the online play was genius, im not getting achievments, nothing, yet I play the game non stop. Granted, I love the game, killing people and being a badass on shooters but i dunno, nothing can touch this game, i dont even play halo now.

Yes, I'm talking about the best gaming platform... the PC.

no worries about hacking on console gaming for the most part. Big reason why I went 360.

No upgrades necessary? If that were the case there wouldn't be the Xbox and then the Xbox 360.

My PC can still play games I bought in 1995. Can an xbox do that?

What PC did you buy in 95' that will play CoD4? You haven't add RAM or a HDD or video card to play games with better graphics?

I like PC games but there are arguements for and against both systems...

The PC has it's pluses because you can temporarily extend the life by upgrading. However, you also don't have the hacking issues, the instability issues with drivers nor many of the other issues associated with PC gaming.

I think they both have a place. I personally prefer First Person Shooters and Flight Sims on the PC. However, the PC sucks with many of the other types of gaming compared to a console (sports etc..). They both need to be upgraded sooner or later.

Most games I would want to play on the 360 that are old are available via Xbox live. I sure as heck wouldn't care about very many games from 95 for the PC. They run slow, have compatibility issues etc..

PS he was saying his new pc can play games from 95, i personally could care less about that. Xbox has been around for 5-6 years right? so on consoles the last 6 years ive spent 600 bucks, less than I would spend on one computer, which wouldnt have been enough.

That's not what I said. I said my pc will play games I bought back in 1995.

Now my HTPC which I built in 2002 or so plays COD4.

I actually do have a couple games from the mid to late 90's that I still play. I've seem to pull out Tie Fighter or X-Wing vs Tie Fighter ever coupld years and play through them. Those are still two of the best space shooters ever made despite the dated graphics.

Sports games are generally made for consoles and then a crappy port is made to the PC.

I love flight sims. I've been playing Warbirds since 1995 (granted it gets updated every year or two). I've got a comped account on that game for life because I wrote the automated score database and pages for the company that owns it over 10 years ago. (http://scores.warbirdsiii.com)

I also wrote softare that reads and plots realtime data for electric motors (specifically for RC aircraft) through a serial port (pic attached) to guage performance for both use of electric power and the recharging/battery condition of RC battery packs. (pic attached)

My controllers are CH Fighterstick, prothrottle and pro pedals.

The PC has other obvious advantages over consoles. I write software, design web pages, do my taxes, and cut my finger open when I touched my spinning cpu cooler.

My HTPC also has about 4 terabytes of storage and holds every DVD I've ever purchased.

I tried and it kicked me out with a connection error. I also was in a party of four. I had to end it short (I got distracted ;)).

we both have to be out of the game, in order for it to work. Let me know when you want to play again.

Yeah, if you are sitting at you party lobby or whatever no problem joining. I can also join game in progress if you have a little arrow type thing next to your user icon. The guys I play with we usually send an invite and then wait because they are in a game. If you bail on a game it is recorded as a loss and you loose XP.

I played like crap lastnight anyway!!

You don't lose XP, but it is recorded as a loss. You don't get any of the match XP that you would have gotten too.
