Calvin Pace out of the season!

http://www.azcentral.com/sports/cardinals/articles/1017pace.html

Cardinals defensive end Calvin Pace severely cut his arm during a household accident in Atlanta last week and is out for the season, coach Dennis Green said.

Pace, who had an operation on his arm soon after the accident, spoke to Green on the phone about the incident but didn't reveal many details.

"He just kind of slipped and to brace himself, went through the window," Green said.

Pace, a 2003 first-round pick, is the second defensive lineman the Cardinals have lost for the season. Defensive tackle Russell Davis was put on injured reserve late last month with a right biceps injury. Pace, who recorded 11 tackles and a sack, was used as the primary backup at both defensive end spots, a fifth defensive linemen in five-front formations and as a stand-up rusher during passing situations.

Pace was not at the team's training facility Monday. Green and Cardinals head trainer John Omohundro both said they weren't sure which arm was cut.

Word is he was about to receive a call from his good buddy Thomas Jones, but when he reached for the phone, he grabbed a meat cleaver instead.

Good job Calvin.

He must have called Thomas Jones to find out a good excuse to quit on the team.

All players should live in a bubble and only be owed out for workouts, practices, and Games for the whole season.

Maybe he had a big log in the middle of his garage and he was reaching for an axe.....

Maybe it was a fondue pot......

Maybe Jumanna Kid came over for dinner and.........

Maybe Michael Pittman was just returning Pace's Hummer.....

This has to be the the fault of Dennis Green or the Bidwills somehow. I just know it. :D
