Cam Newton should've asked Derek Anderson to do the post game press conference. He would have taken it seriously.
interesting. he's still a douche for how he was answering questions at the beginning, but do they really put players from opposing teams that close to together to answer questions after a game that big?
All I know is Cam made a statement that if other teams don't like how they celebrate stop them. Denver did that big time.
yea it was chris harris. Brian Dawkins pointed it out on ESPN yesterday as why Newton left
I dont get how you think he took your post the wrong way. You were saying that it's lame to bag on Cam when there are bigger transgressions that have happened but we're not talking about that because we want to be hip. Right? But not you, you are wise and mature for coming in here and setting us all straight for talking about it in this thread, the thread that you yourself have contributed several posts to.

Mike Shula, Ron Rivera and Cam Newton will be dealing with this abomination game for a long time. Cam may go down as one of the worst SB QB performances with this one.]
Cam's comment to his pouting during the post game conference-
"show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser"
I get it that it is the worst to lose and I'll be the first to admit- I hate losing! But there comes a time in life (especially this year for him) that you just need to suck it up and give credit when credit is due. If he went to the press conference and was humble about the loss and said we will be back next season, he would be looked at as a great MVP. Now to me, that award is tarnished because of how poor he acted. As much as I hate to say it, Russell Wilson was so classy last year when he was on his press conference after the loss to the Pats
Not even close. Off the top of my head Elway had 3 that were worse. Roethlisberger was awful in his first one and Rich Gannon I think threw 5 picks in one. Ouch.
As for Shula why he left his tackles on an island for most of the game we'll never know...

It's seemingly becoming more evident that Cam didn't stop being a sore loser and poor sport, but rather didn't have many opportunities to be one throughout the season.
If I'm a teammate hearing that he didn't try to recover his fumble for fear of injury, I'm livid.
Not sure if Cam is just an idiot or is simply selfish. This is a bad look, either way.

What a convenient way to excuse your bad behavior. It's brilliant. I'd misjudged Cam. He obviously is setting his own, new "It's all about me" standards for spoiled-player behavior. Not only do you not have to apologize (obviously that's for losers too) when you act like a 6-year old, but you can diss the guys who have those old-fashioned values of being a good sport and taking it like a man.
