Nope this here has nothing to do with race. Race is a factor in some criticisms of him but not in this. Don't confuse the two.

I love Russel Wilson. My favorite golfer was Tiger. My favorite basketball player of all time is Michael Jordon. Cam is an immature, classes punk. Nothing racist about it. Thanks for the #camtrum.

Cam....stay classy.

Still doesn't mean that I don't think race plays a factor in some of the hate directed towards him.

I won't disagree with you to an extent. But tonight's actions & what I see weekly from him doesn't help his image among fans & that's on him.

Newton needs to step back & look in the mirror & tone it down IMO. Maybe he should look at Peyton a Manning & how he handled himself for 2 weeks & throughout his career. Manning could've easily made these past 2 weeks more about himself than his team by telling everyone he's retiring after this game. But in class Manning fashion he never did.

He should've put his hoodie down but I didn't take offense to anything else. He said we got outplayed and explained what went wrong specifically halfway thru the press conference. Instead of walking out just say "im done" or "that's it".

He went over to Peyton after the game so all is well and said something to other Bronco players. I mean let's not completely blow this thing out of proportion. Hopefully he learns from it.

It's not blown out of proportion. He acted like a douche and it is completely unacceptable there's a reason he's being blasted by former NFL players and Hall of Famer's and people who have been known themselves not to act the right way. He is the face of the NFL now or being push that way and in no way shape or form should ever act like that.

He should've been more professional but I'm not freaking out about it. That's all. I think he will learn from it.

Now wait a minute. Let's put this in perspective These are the same cocky bastards that went for 2 up by 30 with 4 minutes left to play 2 weeks ago. And then they mugged for the cameras while the game went on. Their "star" CB said the next day the Cardinals were lucky they called off the dogs because they really wanted to keep in scoring. And It all starts with their coach. Newton showed his true self when he didn't jump on that fumble.

Guess there must of been smoke there when people questioned his character.

Maybe they weren't just doing it because they were racists?

I got no qualms with any of that. he embarrassed himself on and off the field tonight.

What?
If he's gonna act this way after the loss, I got no issue with people giving him crap. Still doesn't mean that I don't think race plays a factor in some of the hate directed towards him.

You just witnessed why people don't like him yet still hang on to race. GMAB. He's a jerk.

Not gonna give a break to the biggest supporter of Donald Sterling on the board.

Yes, some people hate him more because he's black. I wouldn't be surprised if you were one of them based on a multitude of things you've said on other boards here.

I wasn't a supporter of Sterling. I simply told you exactly what was going to happen and it did. You seem to be unable to get over that.

A black Manning would still be as revered today as a white Newton would be hated based on actions.

The language filters seem to be pretty tight. What I typed wasn't that bad.

Jay Cutler gets quite a bit of hate for his attitude and he doesn't even do the over the top celebrating. Imagine how much hate he would get if he acted negatively like he does and also celebrated like he won the game every time he did something good.
