Just re-read this. Wow that was bad. Also noticed I put Warner when it was Leinart on the DRC Int.

I talked with Richard Saenz (sp), CH 10 Sports and he also was impressed with Breaston and Hightower... good so far!

Thanks Shane

Any thoughts on how Alan Branch? Is he doughy? Is he making an impact?

Hard to tell on the whole. But in drills he has looked solid. Only problem for him is so has Bryan Robinson IMO. Plus Gabe should be back soon.

This is a good problem for the Cards. It is encouraging news that the vet, Robinson, is serviceable. Of the three, I wish one would achieve a level better than "serviceable".

If my titles are off or my spelling sucks I apologize. But I try to get these up for you guys in a hurry. I also have 3 children hear begging for my attention as I write so I get distracted. Hope you like it. I cant remember everything I see so if you have any questions just ask. It might jog my memory.

Tell your kids that your are doing an important public service. I'm sure that they will understand.

I thiunk Watson is much more than serviceable. I gave him much of the credit for Dockett blwong up last season. like D-Dock though, he had no depth behind and and burnt out IMO.

I agree that Gabe really stepped up last year by showing up in great shape to match the Cards new 3-4. I think he was poised for an even better year this year. All indications are that he kept in great shape while recovering from his injury but probably won't play until the end of camp. I like him because of how hard he worked to improve. This year with Watson, Branch, and Robinson, maybe fatgue mid-season will not be a factor.

By far the best QB in this and most accurate was............................. Matt Leinart! He was easily nailing the targets that were called with precision. In fact he made it look easy. I was very impressed. That is a very small target from that distance. Warner was ok and the other two QB's just sucked. They couldnt hit crap today. It made my concerns about his accuracy the last two days go away.

They then broke into a drill where the WR/CB go one on one with each other. this was fun and the competition was excellent. Both Matt and Kurt threw the balls to them. E. Doucet had a magnificent catch in th eleft endzone corner after a tip by the CB. Fitz smoked Hood catching a beautiful fade pass from Matt in the Right corner of the endzone. Morey just blew DRC socks off on an in and out route for a TD. Left him frozen in his shoes and got some ooohs and ahhhs from the crowd.

Next was 7 on 7 again. Kurt and Matt were completeing almost everything. DRC made a break playing the ball and picked it off beautifully against Breaston on one play. Fitz had an unbelievably gorgeous horizontal lay out for a TD against hood. It was a thing of beauty and the clapping and oohs and ahhs were in full force. It was delivered by Matt!

:thewave:

Keep it up Matty. I was getting ready for suicide watch after the inital reports. Glad to hear he is picking it up and getting better as camp progresses.

The QB's were doing a flag exercise that I have never seen before.

I was there Sun/Mon and that was my favorite drill (along with the 3-hole net). On Sunday Matt missed one but he played up the crowd to cheer him. Nice to see that (finally) the QB's are working on their accuracy - I had never seen those drills before.

That was a fun drill to watch. I still cant believe how accurate he was in hittingthose small targets form that distance.

Frickin' people driving in the HOV lave and speeding and no cops. I drink one lousy fifth of Wild Turkey 101 and they are up my butt.
