Fitz never could get open. Warner just knew how to throw the ball so Fitz could use his size and incredible hands to make the catch.

And of course there was that other WR Boldin or something like that.

Fitz hasn't had a 100 yard game in 13 games and hasn't caught a TD in 6 games... All with a very talented young WR on the other side in Floyd.

It's time to just come to the realization that he isnt the player he used to be... He may have another good game here and there but a game changer he just isn't anymore!

Y'boy Q is still a game changer. He changed the game with a head butt.…

But for real. Q's longevity is just sick given the abuse his body has taken.

I'll give you that for sure. I hope he escapes without lasting injuries for his life after football.
My love affair with Q ended in the player's parking lot after the NFC championship game. My wife and i had passes to be there. While all the other players with their families were laughing, signing autographs and stuff, Q got in his Bentley and sped away with his agent on the phone the whole time. I took pictures of him leaving the celebrations..... Not that any of the matters, it's just a piece of trivia.

I could go all Tango talking about how Q dumped me, but I better not......

Good ****, even though I've supported Q in the past.

Yeah, when Warner said "open for Larry is a lot different than being open for a lot of other guys" he was referring to Larry's timing and his hands. It also helped having Warner throwing the ball: today's Larry would still be a devastating weapon for Philip Rivers or Peyton Manning, IMO.

The contract is a whole other issue, and large enough that I'm not going to fault either the Cardinals or Larry for making a business decision. But I do hope we can keep him. If the Cards find themselves in a red zone, must-score situation in the playoffs, and Floyd is emerging as all-pro, there's still a great chance that play is drawn up for Larry--and not for sentimental reasons.

I do not care about stats, I just know one thing. It still means a lot if the game is on the line in the future and we have to throw one pass into tight quarters for a crucial first down or a touchdown to win... and it ends up being completed to Fitz because he still has great hands, and that still makes him a game changer :)

It is obvious that he has lost a step or two, which makes me wonder if he no longer the threat he once was. I am not at the games so don't know if he is being double teamed often, or not.

I was at the game and there was nothing cooler than the entire stadium erupting in a spontaneous Larry..Larry...Larry chant after a big play. This guy is beloved by the fans and his teammates and I hope he restructures and retires a card because he is everything that is right with football.

Fun fact, Fitz put up even better numbers with Q out of the lineup.

Said this before, but Fitz is like Cris Carter. Great hands, great route running, no speed. Cris Carter gets Randy Moss and goes insane. That's what's going to happen this year for Fitz with Floyd and Brown.

Its not going to happen.. Fitz just isn't the same player anymore. That much is very clear.

Perhaps. Totally possible. But I'd hate to think Whis wasted his best years with absolute chumps throwing to him. Losing a SB isn't worth wasting a HOF talent if that's true.

Maybe... However, Brown and Floyd are having a great start to the season in very large part, due to Fitz being on the field. Fitz continues to draw double teams (in some cases triple teams), leaving the field much more open for Floyd and Brown!

Other fun facts: Fitz had the best year of his career in Yards per catch and 2nd best in total yards receiving with Kolb, Skelton, and Bartel at QB.

Superman.
