All of this is true.
Except for the Kevin Kolb part.
I don't think Kolb is even a serviceable QB. Unless you think serviceable means a guy who can get you to 5-11. He's had one and a half good games plus 3 minutes since October of 2010 versus teams that had any semblance of a defense. Plus both years he's been in Arizona the more he started the worse he played.
How many long sustained TD drives has he engineered in games the Cards have won? 2-3 maybe? How many to run out the clock? Most of the TDs came on long pass plays. (Of course Double Dunce had several long TD drives and we saw where that got us and the Cards have almost never been able to sustain drives to run the clock so maybe that isn't something to use to rate a Cardinals QB.)
I think Kolb just can't play once he's been hit a few times over the course of a few games. And no offense in the NFL can protect their QB to the point where he's never hit.
