Can we all agree now Josh is NOT the QB of the future?

I saw that too, but i can hardly blame him for thinking Fitz all the way on that one.

I agree, I'm just talking about Josh not seeing the field, I agree I was cheering for him to lob it up there too and he made a perfect throw.

But, Josh did finish the half very strong. Hope he can keep it up.

I agree. At least he's stretching the field. His pass for the TD was on the money.

I don't blame him, I'd throw it to him too.

He hit Boldin in the hands on the extra point and nothing.

I'm the QB I throw it to Fitz all night long, they can't cover him.

Can we all agree Green is doing a horrible job?

Can you give your way obvious Green bias a break?

You keep starting threads that only you reply to. Do you walk around the house mumbling that Green should be fired?

Your starting to scare me. :p

yes Quan has a couple of drops, but all I'm talking about is Josh not seeing the field, I have no doubt he didn't see Boldin at all on that play and down there that's acceptable, the play is lob to Fitz. But throughout the game the same thing has happened where it DID matter because he's not seeing open players.

The guy should get at least one pass thrown his way every single time we crack the red zone. His hands are as good as anyone I've ever seen.

The one thing about Josh is that he plays all out. He can't see but one receiver but he takes a hit and not afraid to tuck it and run. He may get killed but the kid has guts.

Who cares I can't stand the overthrows and the lack of vision. Even the good throw that Boldin dropped he led him right into the safety, if Boldin had caught it the guy would have taken his head off.

This team just infuriates me, how can Green look so damn calm when this stuff is happening?>

I am not a Josh supporter but am careful what I post until the game is over. Josh made several overthows and missed some wide open receivers who might have scored. Second quarter he is looking better. The throw to Fitz on the TD look good. Arrington looks more lost than Josh to me. I am begining to think he was a wasted pick. Shipp can move the ball even without a good OL. The coaching of this team is really sub standard to say the least. I wonder of Green has a clue sometimes when they show him. Early today in one of the games the annoucers were commenting that they did not think it is a good move to go for two points anytime in the first half. I tend to agree with that as to many things can happen. I would sure hate to lose this game with that one point extra point not being made. Still got the second half and we are out playing this team but manage to screw up when it counts.

Agreed, if we're from the 20 on in, at least once you have to throw the ball up to Fitz like that, it's like Harold Carmichael in his prime, they can't defend him on plays like that.

THe OL seems to have done a better job recently although Josh nearly got killed again on the 2 point conversion play.

This game ought to be a blowout, SF can't move the ball at all.

On 2 of those passes the WRs slowed down for no apparent reason

McCown doesn't seem to see guys getting open or others outside of the initial guy in the play he's primarily looking for

Good point. Looks to me like he has made up his mind before the snap who he will throw to. He just does not see the whole field and is missing open guys with no one around them.

Josh is not playing that bad. He could be worse. The kid has guts and plays full speed. But, he can not see the whole field.

Also, JJ will be fine. The kid is a rookie and playing behind a line that is swiss cheese. I would try to put JJ in the slot or let him run some of those plays that go to ayanbandajo. Get JJ the ball in the open field and it will help his confidence. Too early to call him a bust. 4 games into his professional career with this line is going to hurt you.

This is the BIGGEST

******** thread I've read in a long time. Yea, he's missed a few receicers. The TD was as much his as fitz's. He's moved the team well.
He's looking to folow the playbook, just like Arrington.
If we win this game, and believe me McCowns mobility and arm will be two of the reaons, you should quit your stinkin' bitchin and get behind him.
If Warner fumbles it's the O line not Mccown.
Warner hasn't thrown anything near with the zip McCown has so far this year, but he's got a better arm.
He can't score in the red zone, but it was Fitz not McCown, who BTFW has done this repeatedly with these receivers because he knows they can go up, ala Moss.
Give it a rest.

Recievers open before the throw - McCown doesn't see them and can't make the play.

The difference on the lob was that he is throwing to a space, and then the reciever is the one who has to make the play.

Look back - thats 90% of the TD passes Josh has made. They didn't involve reads, they involved throwing to space.

He's a liability - he simply can't react to the developing field.

Yes they did and a good coach will sure remind them when they review the film.

They are not getting the ball to JJ in a position where he can use his speed. They should try some screens or quick passes to him on the outside. I think he is being misused. Coach problem perhaps or maybe a JJ problem. We will see soon enough. No doubt Shipp is much the superior runner at this point and should start every game.

That TD pass

is a two optrion pass. Go for the corner pileon (sp) or stop short and go up and get it.
This is crap. We're winning with a QB that is moving the team and you guys are complaining.
Complain about Arrington not being able to move the ball, Ayanbadejo not being able to move the ball, NOT ONE YARD!

GO MCCOWN!! SCREW these clowns!!
GO CARDINALS!!!

Mccown

actually told everyone in the huddle to shut up, and told Fitz he needed all his heart on this one. He knew EXACTLY what he was going to do.

It was started in the first quarter down 14-0 with Josh having missed one open receiver after another because he can't see the field Rats.

Sf's defense is awful, Josh is finally taking advantage of it and playing quite well although they luckily just dropped the 3rd INT of the game.
