I've never understood the haters.

All Josh has needed was a chance. He was the QB in all of our wins last season, yet still got benched for Shaun King who was just awful.

Hopefully, Josh gets to keep playing this season.

It was started in the first quarter down 14-0 with Josh having missed one open receiver after another because he can't see the field Rats.

Sf's defense is awful, Josh is finally taking advantage of it and playing quite well although they luckily just dropped the 3rd INT of the game.

It's his first week this season as a starter. You can expect a little rust.

If he was the starter from day one and getting all the snaps, maybe I could understand your negativity toward him. Nah, I probably still wouldn't understand it.

Not that Shipp's fumble was his fault but he had 2 guys wide open for TD's that he didn't see on that drive and if he finds either one of them, we never get to Shipp fumbling.

This is unreal, 2 TD's by the worst defense in the NFL, and the first quarter isn't even over yet.

Green might want to check with ESPN at the half if he can get his old job back after this debacle.

Oh well, fact is we can still win the game as we all saw we have WR's running WIDE open all over the field.

******** thread I've read in a long time. Yea, he's missed a few receicers. The TD was as much his as fitz's. He's moved the team well.
He's looking to folow the playbook, just like Arrington.
If we win this game, and believe me McCowns mobility and arm will be two of the reaons, you should quit your stinkin' bitchin and get behind him.
If Warner fumbles it's the O line not Mccown.
Warner hasn't thrown anything near with the zip McCown has so far this year, but he's got a better arm.
He can't score in the red zone, but it was Fitz not McCown, who BTFW has done this repeatedly with these receivers because he knows they can go up, ala Moss.

As theismann said, 383 yards, 2 TD's could have had a few more but he settled down. I'll give him props, he DID settle down,but the first quarter he was just awful with wide open players.

What's even worse was Rattay, Josh did his damage against a team with it's top 2 CB's out the whole game and it's 3rd out the whole 2nd half, Rattay faced us with our top CB out(Rolle) and our 2nd and 3rd got hurt during the game, and Rattay still couldn't move the ball.

I'm all for upgrading to a better QB but heck, the kid plays his heart out and he does not suck.

Seriously tonight he did good against a team he should have done good against and Carolina will be much tougher but they are going to need all that confidence and more to get to 2-3.

However he did look good against a bad team. He lead us to twice as many TDs as Warner had in the first 3 games (and the secondaries he went against weren't exactly special either).

Whether he is the QB of the future shouldn't be a question now (lets wait for the offseason for that one). What the question should be is "Is he the QB of the present?" and with this game that answer is a resounding "hell yes"

At some point you start looking stupid trying to sell other alternatives to the team.

Now after the season is over it's all up for grabs again, but until he lays an egg there shouldn't be too much debate about it this season.

It just makes sense, he can run away from the jailbreaks a few times a game Warner just gets crushed every time by them.

All those anti Josh posters take heart, he most likely will screw up and your day is comming, just not today.
