Do all the players get patted down? That's odd. I guess it makes sense, but odd.

Hope it is a better patdown than the one coming into the stadium. As long as I pack heat anywhere but my pits and middle back or waist like Doc Holliday, I'm good to go.

Every time I go through stadium "security" I realize the terrists have won...mostly because we are flat out stupid.

If you want to feel really not safe go to Disneyland. You could get a bazooka in there.

Oh, I know man. We go two or three times a year (going in three weeks).

Security is a JOKE. I'd talk about how ridiculous it is overall, but I don't want flagged by the feds as a potential terrist.

You do realize that patdown isnt trying to stop someone with a gun right?

This is obviously not what it looks like. Even if the players do get patted down entering the stadium, it would not be by NFL game officials. It's not their job.

And it's useless to pat down for explosives as well, given that you don't need a dynamite vest to blow up half the stadium...just a suprisingly small amout of plastic explosives. Which you wouldn't strap to your chest. Just pointless. That was sound strategy back in the 70s.

I think it's hilarious that they pat me down. Like I'm fitting ANYTHING else in my shirt...

In three weeks? But the Cardinals are at home that week. I'm going in four weeks.

We are coming back saturday night so we'll be at the game on Sunday.

Wed-Saturday (two days at the park, one day at my sister's house). We love going during the week because it's much less crowded.

I would think they were patted down for no illegal game materials (unfair advantage type stuff) not any type of bombs or weapons. That would happen from a ref, I'd assume. It makes sense they would do it, but I never really thought of it. Don't come in with a slick jersey, etc.
