Where McDaniels has an advantage is that he has already failed in his initial attempt to being a HC. He has learned that you have to win before you can create the New England culture and how they treat vet players. He didn't understand that when he took the Denver job.

Yup...and he's had a year to sit back and see how Patricia did with Detroit...seems like Matt had to tone down the Patriot Way, during the season, because he was kissing the locker room.
