We did?!? I didn’t even notice them. Not a lot against the oline. Maybe that’s where my focus typically lies.
Late in the game there were two or three false start calls in a row prior to the Cardinals punting. In other words, intentional or at least inconsequential penalties, moved them back to try to keep the ball in the field, but after backing up 10-15 yards, it still ended up a touch back.

Sean Harlow was doing the long snapping on that punt due to Brewer getting hurt. if anything, we were lucky to get a penalty on that first one. If you watch closely, that snap is going end over end and slowly drifiting back to Lee. Probably would've been a blocked punt.

A few times this season we've looked vulnerable against the run early but then managed to close it down throughout the game (apart from GB). Good signs.

Our CB/S group possibly not too happy with their pass coverage overall? A couple of good tackles/fumbles bailed us out of giving up some significant yards. Really the first time this season I can recall us giving up receptions like that. Too much space at times. Aiyuk seems a ridiculous athlete though. Him with a better QB...?

Our O line had a great game. Did Garcia get injured though?

Don't feel comfortable with our punt return game. Looks an accident waiting to happen

Yeah I think that’s the key we didn’t have many online penalties any errant timeouts or Game management issues… chopper made a good point saying that maybe the issues aren’t really on Kingsberry as much as many would think.

So that explains why we took false starts instead of delays they probably wanted to let Harlow get a couple of practice snaps that wouldn't count.

I did see Brewer on the sideline so that explains it. Hope he's ok long snappers are very valuable

I had no idea until I watched one of PatMcAfee Shows where he explained the whole Long Snapper - Holder - Kicker connection and the nuances of it. I really hope Brewer is fine because otherwise, even if we bring in a new guy, there will be some ugly kicks before they have the same connection as with Brewer. Do we even know what happened to him?

You generally have to sign a guy because not many rostered linemen long-snap.
Yes I really don't feel comfortable if apparently Harlow ist the best current option on the roster. I mean in punt situations the margin of error is significantly higher compared to field goals and he already seemed to struggle with that a bit yesterday. No offense to Harlow at all by the way, I think many people underestimate how much goes into perfecting that craft, with 10.000s of repetitions.

Exactly a good long snapper can make an entire career into his mid 30's because they're so hard to find.

You can see a scenario where if you don't have one due to injury you just can't kick FG's or extra points and have to go for it or punt.

Could get interesting we could see Colt or Kyler quick kicking so we don't have to long snap on punts

He has earned another shot, especially with the NFL's push for minority HCs. I don't believe he will be successful but he should get another crack at it. Hopefully the QB situation is better.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Joseph wait until he has the right job. 2nd time HCs generally don't take any job that comes their way, they tend to be a bit more choosy.

Just to get an idea of how much we might miss Brewer, watch the Packers field goal unit against the Chiefs yesterday. I know that Crosby gets all the heat, but man, the whole snapping process was a mess. And I think they have a rookie long snapper.
