I would have been elated about getting him in 2019. However, as of now ehhh

Thought he'd be a legit good offensive tackle in the NFL and now he's kind of a soft guard.

We gave up a 5th round for the Andy Isabella equivalent of offensive linemen. That is a dramatic statement but not far off.

Anytime you get a useable player for a late round pick it's a win. Justin Murray is hurt and both rookies are hurt. You are an injury to Hernandez or Pugh from a nightmare scenario

Though neither is thought yo be serious, Pugh and Hernandez are hurt too.

i am not sure why people are jumping on the "he sucks" bandwagon so fast. He started 28 out of 39 games. Yes, he has had injury issues about the majority of NFL lineman have similar issues including ours on the roster already.

Is Ford better than a 5th Rd pick? Possibly. Possibly not. But he does provide depth.

Fans get pissed if they don't get Quentin Nelson for a 7th Rd pick. Jeez, it is what it is.

I love the move..anything is an upgrade to using the likes of Harlow and Garcia like we did last year. Wheels fell off the wagon when we had those guys in the lineup - not a coincidence

Now to be fair, if info comes out that we are in need of a starting offensive linemen for an extended period of time, it may be a necessary evil.

Its to just save this year if Pugh looks like he physically is going to be done a few games into the season.

However, yea we'll have to make a decision on Hernandez or Ford if they both pan out.

yeah I think this is more likely about Pugh than Hudson, that they think Pugh simply isn't going to be able to hold it down this year after losing all that weight and trying to gain it back so they are getting a guy they think can help.

Could be about Hudson too but my guess is it's about Pugh

I don't know how many we are keeping but...no easy decisions in there outside of Miles. I feel this is the reason they had Jones play LT in preseason so they could tell if they could move on from Miles. Smith potentially to the practice squad but do you risk losing him?
