Was just about to make a similar comment. If Tune could/would have completed a few passes beyond the LOS early, the pass rush would have at least slowed a bit.
To be fair his first attempt was a 12-yard completion.

It's just really difficult to get a rhythm going when you're always behind the sticks.

Not watching any part of this game seems to have been the correct decision.

If Kyler doesn't start this week, I may not post here again until the draft.

Gannon’s comments on Murray on October 27th.
“Ball jumps off of his hand. He’s explosive getting out of the pocket, he’s accurate, got good command of the offense right now” “He’s fully healthy.”

He's ready, but we have to see who else is ready. No reason to play him unless he has a CHANCE to make it through the game in one piece. JMO.
F that. He's supposed to be the damn leader of the team, is sure as hell paid to be the damn leader of the team and is healthy. If he's not playing because we don't have a full deck, then bottom line... our guys don't think he's the guy.

They can't baby this kid. That's what the prior regime did. Football is a bloodsport. He can either play it or he can't at this point. And it's time this franchise HAS to find out.

Absolutely. He cannot nor should he get kid glove treatment. He doesn't get excuses either. If he can't show he's the guy for next year, you move on.

Just a guess, it wasn't your money that paid Kyler.

When you have skin in the game you have to be more careful. Fans just have to act like they own the team.
You’re right Garth. They should just pay him tens of millions of dollars to do nothing, completely wasting this year AND disabling their ability to figure out if they should continue to pay him moving forward.

Sounds like a brilliant use of their money… paid to a guy… to play football… when he’s healthy… which he is.

You do understand the concept of paying players to actually… you know… play football?

Amen - he should be chomping at the bit like a true franchise qb. Get him in there - nothing to gain with him on the bench. Need to find out what he is made of.

If it were only that simple. But suggest you stick to FB and give up on your medical work. :)

It's a crazy idea, especially if you consider that Monti absolutely set things up to be able to move on from Murray if necessary.

The only way that's not possible is if Kyler gets injured and is out for 2024. I think you're stuck with him until at least 2025 if that happens, because no one is going to take a flyer on his $37 million guaranteed salary unless you throw in a first-round pick or something along with it.
