This is the most encouraged I’ve felt all season. This is the first time they have looked like a real NFL team this year.

Not a very good NFL team mind you, but at least they looked like they belonged on the field against a legit opponent.

Be careful what you are saying. Vujnovic came in today and was worse than any of the starters
Not even comparable to Smith! Did you watch the game? Almost every pass play was a pressure from Rosen’s right & Smith was beat like a drum all day.

No. Expecting Smith to hold up vs a pure speed edge player like Ford was a poor plan. Smith isn't a guy who wins that matchup.
Which is why he doesn’t deserve to be a starter in this league even on a poor Cardinals team. He’s way too big & not athletic enough & exactly why the Bungles tossed him away

I watched every play. Let's just say that they are all playing poorly right now. Smith needed some chipping help. He was over manned today and is a poor RT to start with.

The only positive today is they used DJ properly.

I dunno outside of first drive which was too easy the D played pretty well... Hikding that team to under 30 and Mahomes under 300 and under 100 rushing.... I gotta say they did pretty well co pared to the other 9 teams that have played them this year...

Other than Pop Warner kids, there isn’t a matchup Smith wins... in the NFL, tackles face speed the majority of the time. Sure, you’re gonna lose here and there, but Smith is pathetically overmatched. He isn’t a starter in the NFL, period!

No moral victories imo.

Thank goodness for the Dline & it’s pressure or we would’ve got smoked.

I still say Wilks conservative defensive approach with too much zone coverage isn’t a strength

I thought that they’d blow our doors off. We manufactured pressure and kept them in check for the most part. Proud of the D

Somewhere there are offensive linemen not currently on a roster that could come in and play better than the worst of ours. Maybe on another team's practice squad? In a lesser league (Arena, semi-pro, etc). Maybe some undrafted guys that are hungry for an opportunity. I hope our O-line is a major focus going forward. It should be every year. It is one of the most important parts of operating an offense effectively.
