Going into tonight we had the 12th best scoring offense in the NFL. Not "amazing" but pretty decent for a QB you love to hate

The execution of the fudged up playcall was timing, nothing more. The call never should have been made.

Right. Overall he wasn’t bad. Just can’t get over the hump as a quarterback and is who he is at this point of his career. An overall average quarterback who does a few things here and there that make guys think he can be special while at the same time consistently breaking your heart with dumb plays.

Instead, build the defense into a nasty turnover generating unit. The D plays so hard, but they just don't churn many INTs or fumbles. We are one of the worst in the league at that

Non ball knowing Kyler haters are talking a lot of nonsense tonight. I think Kyler hatred is some sort of mental illness. Sometimes plays like this happen. You don't HAVE to find some imaginary ******** to nitpick about a player. There was no room for "touch" on that pass in that situation.

The biggest issue I had with a player today was not on the field. We lost this game because we have no pass rusher who can win one on one matchups

it’s just not the right fit unfortunately. Gannon wants us to look like Philly or Cousins Minnesota which means Kyler needs to not turn the ball over and be a game manager while the D does their thing.

Unfortunately I don’t think it’s in his DNA and there’s always going to be the bonehead plays. But unlike when you had Kliff orchestrating things he’s not making nearly enough splash plays in this offense.

So we’re kinda screwed because he’s average.

When your defense holds your opponent to 13 pts you expect a victory.
This defense held opponents to 17 pts or less 6 times this year.
We are one or two players of being a really good defense.
