With McCoy this team is below average.
I totally expect a loss today.
Kylers injury could easily linger for another month.
For those that are saying “wait until he is 100%”, are you ready for an 8-6 record going into week 16?
Because it’s a real possibility if we wait until Kylers 100%!

The line jumped from Seahawks +1.5 to -3 this morning. Kyler ain’t playing and I think we get crushed.

I actually HOPE he’s too injured to play and we aren’t going beyond conservative with a bye coming up. I worry about a team’s psyche who seemed to come out of the gate putting last years collapse behind them losing their mojo with another mid season collapse. Especially one of our own making if they’re thinking they can eat Ls now just to get us to the bye.

Also, it just calls into question Kyler’s ultimate durability. Which blows on a bigger scale.
It’s definitely odd for your quarterback to practice all week and then not play on Sunday…. Weird weird weird

There's practise and there's Practise

Walk through a few plays, throw a few passes. Bit of footwork stuff. Versus doing things flat out, high intensity, under pressure. Game speed

Everyone has a different threshold (and that is an unknown here) but I guess he just hasn't been able to go at game intensity without pain/limitation

A) we know the Rams aren’t invincible.
B) The Niners flat out own that Rams team.
C) McCoy going 14 for 19 for 192 yards would be almost as miraculous as his Niners performance. That was the exception to the rule. Last week was the rule.
Yes but the difference last week ( our kryptonite opponent) we turned it over, didn’t run the ball and we’re going for first downs in our own territory only down 7 pts. In the first quarter. Yes, if that is the way the script goes today, it will be ugly.
But let’s not get lost in the fact the Seahawks are 3-6 and not even a shadow of the team they have been.

Sitting him out of extreme caution might accomplish the same fate. Do we think that after essentially six weeks off, Kyler’s not going to be at all rusty when we come back on the road in prob bad weather in Chicago? Not sure I’d count that as a gimme when he gets back.

But without knowing the actual severity of the injury, we’re all kind of in the dark. Just confused... if he’s healthy enough for five practices over the last 9 days, well... just a brow crinkling moment.
Keim is also, from what I understand, involved in these decisions. Which is a mistake. It works best when everyone stays in their lane.

Where did you see that. We were told this week that it’s all Kylers decision?

It was a couple of weeks ago. Some nfl insider? Don't take that as set in stone.

I will say I have never seen a guy practice for 3 days, not aggravating an injury, and then not play. It's very odd
Same. If they are THAT worried about injury, why have him practicing and moving around where he could further aggravate it?

This is why I think McCoy might start but Murray is there for emergency.

the NFL.com fantasy app for Kyler says he had "limited participation" wed through Friday. Then a couple of people reported that the way the ankle reacted to practice it wsa about a 30% chance he'll play today.

MIN currently up after the first. If GB loses today, do you think we may “surprisingly“ see Kyler start?

They could also be waiting to see how it held up to flying. I know that changes in altitude can mess with injuries too... Swelling and stuff like that.

If his ankle reacted badly why would you keep practicing him 3 days in a row?
