I don't believe an NFL game has ever been ended prematurely because of any kind of weather, aside from Pre-Season.

The Steelers are currently the 5th seed in the playoffs. It would be hours before they call it.

How does the NFL handle it if the game can't be resumed due to the lightening? I know how it works in baseball since it's fairly common but I can't remember it happening in an NFL game. I'm sure it has happened. I'm just clueless.

Probably schedule a rematch like they did with COVID...then skip it since there are no playoff implications

They probably don't care as much but this game has big draft implications too with us tied with NE and one game ahead of Carolina.

I've said it all season that if you get up 2 scores (hell even 1 score) on the Steelers just kneel down on every play and they have no chance.

They often rely on their defense scoring
