I’D bet every dime I’m worth the coaches tell the players to run the route to the sticks. I’d bet it’s hammered in. To me that’s likely a player execution fail.

Players with no respect for their cupcake coach have no fear of doing anything wrong. Nobody in offense is held accountable for the mistakes they make over and over.

Not unusual to have a route under to get YAC but he shouldn't get the pass with a defender right on him.
