We were 9-7 and we had Warner, Fitz, Boldin etc. Kurt was one of a kind. I undated, he was stocking shelves at a grocery store. Got a chance to play and went to 3 Super Bowls and left the field ahead in all 3 games.
Well technically Warner left the field in Tampa trailing the Steelers as they strip sacked him when he tried a Hail Mary with :16 on the clock. Pittsburgh recovered and did a kneel down with :05 on the clock.

Kyler Murray on the Cardinals' struggles getting touchdowns instead of field goals: "Penalties. Penalties. Haven't really played like that all year. I want to say uncharacteristic, but that beats you. It's bad football in the red zone, and against a good team, a good defense it kills you."

You are right Brian. I only saw that play in person as I have never rewatched it. My memory is not the best.

Can’t even imagine this offense without K1 and Petzing calling a game.

I can imagine this offense without Petzing and K1 QBing this team.

1-6 in the redzone.

And warner was a washed out QB when we grabbed him. Didn’t even start the season.

So, let’s keep the perspective grounded when talking about his greatness with the Cardinals.
So your comment makes him even greater. An undrafted washed up QB takes the pathetic Cardinals to the Super Bowl. Meanwhile we have the number one overall pick with one playoff game. A pathetic performance in a bad loss. Facts.

I mean, clearly it sucked today, but we’re the least penalized team in the league hyperbole like this is silly
Last two weeks have been totally flipped from first ten games. Hopefully that’s a blip on the radar and not the beginning of a trend.

He can execute a 2 min drive here and there. He had this season. Just not with consistency.
Right. Which if you read my original comment…..I am just saying no opposing team is worried about Kyler’s 2 minute drives because he can’t do it consistently enough.

He still has too much memory. He IMO was still thinking about getting stripped on first down because he didn't step up like he should have and he let it bug him the entire series.

I used the FOX sports streaming app to watch, when I got power back on it kicked in with some postgame show and they were talking about our game. Literally first thing I heard, I'm sure they will get an email from the NFL telling them sorry we missed that call but that won't change it the NFL needs to fix that. And then the other guy said and the very next play they call an empty backfield and suddenly it's 2nd and 25. So clearly we're not alone everyone who saw that game thought the same things

It didn't seem as bad as last week live but Kyler Murray again struggled with pressure today. Numbers under pressure from PFF:3/9, 18 yards, one interception

The first half 100%, they were in there so quickly we were constantly throwing the ball short to try and counter it.

I thought we did a better job in the 2nd half.

I also think we're again in this situation where we need Kyler to run more, the first pick and a couple of other plays he should have taken off on them.

Jonathan Gannon on the decision to not to go for the game-sealing touchdown late:"Thought about it. Just wanted to go up more than a field goal there. But definitely a decision point that we talked about. So be it.""I wanted to make them score a touchdown to beat us there."

That's even worse to me. If he thought about and still decided to kick it I just don't get it?

A defensive coach trusting his defense which had played well up to that point. Which, of course, is another argument for going for it. But I think he truly thought we would stop them.

Sure but if I'm thinking that I'm also thinking if we don't score we won't let them go 95 yards to beat us, worst case scenario they'll try and kick a tying FG.

Just the math doesn't work for me. As Olsen said you are giving them a green light to go on fourth down now because they won't have time to punt and get the ball back. If that's me it's a RPO.

I kind of feel like the 2 earlier penalties scared him and he was afraid if he went for it we might get a penalty and get moved back but so what, still going to be a chipshot.

This one really hurts we should have won that game

Got them to 4th and 7. Would have loved to seen an all out blitz on that play. Double A gap blitz and someone off the edge too. Sigh.. so close to winning this one...

Having thought about today’s loss further, this one’s on the coaches and the ultra conservative play calls in the shadow of the end zone:
1) End of 1st half they opted to not clock the ball and try a quick throw to the end zone and instead kicked a short FG
2) Late in the 4th kicking another short FG on 4th down—with the ball at the 4-yard line.

They weren’t playing to win, they were playing NOT to lose.
