Too early for this seeing as the day isn't done yet.

They have added to two big areas of need. With all the big boys on the DL taking up space this year i'm excited to see what AW and KD can do with the speed.

We had 6 picks.... We now have 5.

We made a ever-so-slight reach at #5 that I agreed with.

We made a huge jump in the second and it has cost us our 4th round pick.

I am at a D+ right now.... Let's see what our 3rd rounder brings us..

I am praying for Eric Wright or Brian Leonard to be there. I thought we might go Hughes also. Now I have no idea.

I am not sure about this Branch thing especially since OAK got Zach MIller at the Cards spot in round 2. Branch has reported work ethic issues and Zach MIller was nearly as good as Olsen for TE. I dunno.

I never grade a draft so will not vote.

I give it a B.

I like getting Brown who fills a huge need.

Branch??? I would have rather had a CB or LB. But, need to trust the Wiz.

Buster.... (Love the name).... Don't know but the film clips show him really knocking the snot out of people.

One thing for sure. Wiz is building on the line. We will be a tougher football team.

Buster was a good choice IMO. He reminds me of guys like Dat Nygun, Zack Thomas, Dan Morgan and London Fletcher. What he lacks in prettiness he makes up for with production. I think he will be a great addition. His height kept him out of the 2nd round.

I don't think TE was much of a need...I like Pope, he just hasn't had much of a chance but maybe Whisenhunt will use the TE more this year than Green did.

I voted B. They didn't do anything spectacular, but they filled their needs with quality players so I'm happy with this draft.

Being ever the optimist, I gave the Cardinals an A. As complicated as we sometimes make football out to be, there's really a simple formula for success. Success in football at any level has always been predicated on 2 criterions: 1. Running the ball successfully & 2. Stopping the run successfully. Living in York, PA, I saw plenty of PSU & Levi Brown. Keep in mind that I generally hate PSU as I was raised in Syracuse, NY & I bleed Orange. That being said, Levi is a significantly better match for the Cardinals than any OT in this draft, including Joe Thomas. He is bigger, stronger & nastier at the point of attack, which is exactly what Whiz & Grimm are looking for. We don't need a finesse type player, which is exactly what Thomas is. On the other side of the ball, Branch will add not only a huge body, but a guy that is quick, athletic & can collapse the pocket. A month ago, this guy was a top 10 pick!!! I don't doubt for a second that Whiz will get this kid's best effort, week in and week out. Branch will be a Pro Bowler in his 2nd season. Lastly, Buster Davis is the epitome of a football player. He makes up for being vertically challenged, with an inate ability to always be around the ball. He has a great motor, tremendous sideline to sideline speed, & he's a great tackler. Whiz & Grimm come from a storied franchise that understands the importance of running the ball & stopping the run. These moves today are the beginning stages of tranforming this team into a WINNER. Those of you that don't like these picks have just been watching losing football for so long that you wouldn't know success if it was staring you in the eyes.
