Bears released RB Chester Taylor.

So ends a bizarre six-day saga. Taylor appeared to have nothing left this preseason, rushing for 37 yards on 16 carries, which was the exact opposite of what he needed after last season's abysmal 2.4 yards per carry. Taylor was once one of the league's more polished third-down backs, but the odds are looking low that he'll be an asset for anybody this season. The Cardinals are expected to give Taylor a look, but he won't be a threat for significant carries.

Either Taylor, or Choice, would be a good pick up if for nothing more than for experienced depth...if the price is right of course.

Interesting. I had Taylor ham for breakfast this morning. Love the stuff so it was an easy Choice.

We don't need a threat to run the ball imo, just someone that would give us versatility on third down, especially blocking. I would not be disappointed with signing Taylor.

Without a doubt, if Choice gets cut, he'd be the guy to bring in.

agreed. Choice is a good get. With Beanie's injury history we need an actual solid back-up RB and Taylor's best days are FAAAAAAAAAAAAR behind him.

My choice is to tailor running around Beanie and Steve Slaton, if he becomes available.

Last Thursday's gallant effort by Mr. Powell notwithstanding I just can't see CKW giving Wells the football 20 times a game.

It gave him hives doing it with Edge in 2007.

Choice would be better than what I would have expected us being able to get, he could start if need be and even do well.
