The Vea kid, does he fit into the 4-3 scheme? He is a huge NT, aren’t those utilized more in a 3-4 or is he nimble enough to play across the line?

Vita is built like an NT but has the speed and agility to make plays sideline to sideline(5.1 40)... dude is a beast(41 reps)... he can play in any scheme and push the pocket.

he will command double teams consistently

Lamar Miller, never heard of him... this must really be a stacked QB class :)

He is a runningback from the Houston Texans.

In no particular order I will go,

1. Quarterback Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State

2. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley, Alabama

3. Wide receiver D.J. Moore, Maryland

4. Defensive tackle Da’Ron Payne, Alabama

5. Isaiah Oliver, cornerback, Colorado

Gandhi, DJ Moore is an interesting guess. He might be the best WR in the class, who is flying under the radar.

Guy is an athletic freak. He can play where ever he wants on the DL. If the Cardinals play an 4-3 with an under tackle, one of the DT spots is like a NT position anyway.

1. Lamar Jackson
2. Josh Allen
3. Denzel Ward
4. Dewan James
5. Vita Vea

In the world of mock drafts, these are all possible. I would be happy with any of them.

I think so too, Garth. Personally, I would prefer Calvin Ridley, but I just have this feeling that Moore will be selected first. I am basing it on the buzz about Moore that has been building the last couple of weeks.

Not an expert but don’t 4-3s usually have a “nose” tackle and an “under” tackle or something along those lines
They have a 1 technique which plays on the weak side eye of the C and whose job is to demand a double team and push the pocket. The 4-3 also runs a 3 technique which shoots the strong side guard/tackle gap.

Also, Carolina liked big defensive linemen.

Put him on the line with Golden/Jones/NKMD and we may not need a CB2. LOL. (Check out his videos over on Youtube---he manhandles OL and tosses RB and QBs around like rag dolls.) Would be a great way to solidify the DL.

To me he plays faster than his 40 speed. Guy just looks unnaturally fast and quick for his size.

Wisconsin, you might enjpy Day two more, since we have three picks. Unless, we use them all in order to move up on Day one. :)

My honest opinion is Vea will be long gone before 15. I would not hate the pick if he was there though.

It is not a bad list since there's an outside chance that at least one of those players will fall down to pick #15. We need to see the top 5 QBs come off the board with maybe the Pats jumping up to take a #6 QB ahead of us. Then we get one of the four remaining with LJ already taken.
