He’s under contract for the next 3 years and his contract is pretty good. He’s not leaving because he wants money he’s leaving because of Ben

No, he's already on record as wanting a new deal as part of any trade. This and other social media gaffes have his trade value plummeting, currently, if news around here is to be believed.

Drew was in Pittsburgh yesterday for the meeting between AB & Rooney, he may have reps from his agency here but I don't think it is Drew himself, maybe today but I doubt he was here yesterday. Also according to reports he doesn't have permission from the Steelers to negotiate a trade.

110 times out of 100 I'd say no.. too much baggage for a 30+ yr old WR.

Given how he handles himself with Big Ben, you'd think he'd go easy on a 2nd year QB who is still trying to figure out the game? I can only imagine the pouting and finger pointing on the first missed route by Rosen when he has 0.00001 seconds to throw the ball.

In what world would this make sense from a chemistry standpoint...?

I honestly think this is a little overrated... I don't think Ben is a very good leader.

AB wasn't a major issue until the past year, and it's not like he's the only player taking issue with the organization.

I say the Cardinals are going after Brown and do not need any sources. I have never seen the Cardinals this active early in the process. Our WR group was less than faltering last year, and we need talented WRs as much as decent OL play in a short time in these crucial years of Rosen or even freaking Murray. Brown might be the best WR in the league... Michael Bidwill I imagine is still pissed off from last year and would sign the devil himself to not have another season like last year again and Keim is on a short leash to save his job

“We’re not going to move a significant player for less than significant compensation.”

A trade package could be draft picks, or a player plus picks, Colbert said.

Brown won’t dictate where he ends up, and Colbert admitted that for competitive reasons, there are teams Pittsburgh won’t trade the four-time All-Pro to for competitive reasons. In short, if a trade doesn’t benefit the Steelers, it’s not going to happen.

How did that work out for the Steelers with Bell? They are reportedly not going to tag him...letting him walk for free. They could have landed value for him last year.

AB is about the same but we don't know his willingness to hold out and for how long. He is obviously not playing another down for the Steelers, so who has the leverage?

First off we would have to renegotiate a contract with Brown. We would prolly have to make part of it a signing bonus and would definitely have to have some incentives and conduct penalties. Also the Steelers don’t have to many options. Take what we offer or let him sit. I would offer them a 3rd ( reminding them it’s basically a second). It would be a dynamic addition that would not only spark this offense but would put us back in the news and make us relevant once again.

Honest question. Is it possible Jason was in town talking with the cards on behalf of his brother? Maybe going over things and conveying it to Drew in order to circumvent him not being able to negotiate a trade? I dont know enough about the guy to answer this myself.

Todd Haley: Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown are two of Steelers’ hardest workers

Former Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley says with Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown both likely leaving this offseason, Pittsburgh is losing two of its hardest workers.

Haley said on SiriusXM NFL Radio that, contrary to perceptions, Bell and Brown were consummate professionals and a joy to coach for the six years he spent with Brown and five years he spent with Bell.

“Le’Veon is a guy totally into football,” Haley said. “He’d sit by my office before the team meeting in the morning with his iPad out, watching tape.”

Haley said Brown is among the truly elite workers he’s ever seen in his 24 years as an NFL coach.

“AB is arguably the hardest worker I’ve ever been around,” Haley said. “It comes through his competitive nature, desire. . . . You could never ask anything more of that guy. He wanted to do it all, all the time. What more could you ask for?”

Haley isn’t in Pittsburgh anymore, and soon Bell and Brown won’t be, either.

It is very possible he was in town for a different client too. Are any of the Cardinals pending free agents represented by Rosenhaus?

AB was definitely considered the hardest worker on the team...on the practice field. Meetings, events? Let's just say he was the polar opposite of "sitting by the office before the team meeting." lol

Yup and I’m sure JuJu leading the team in receiving this season didn’t help AB’s ego.

When JuJu was named team MVP, AB really went nuts.

Just heard on the radio while diving around the idea of trading Rosen and a 3rd to PIT for Brown then drafting Murray #1
