Of course, that first season with Philly was far below his previous four-year average in receptions and yards, but don't post anything that might dispute your firmly held opinion that receivers are movable parts.
lol... if you're talking about Owens' first year in Philly don't both posting that his overall numbers of 1200 yards and 14 TDs were far below his previous four year average in receptions and yards because... i don't know...he missed the last two games of the season? but why would you post anything that might dispute your firmly held opinion that receivers AREN'T movable parts... you know... like how Wes Welker was able to dominate. The notion that out of all the guys that came to mind, he didn't is pretty laughable dude.
it's hit or miss with WRs just like it is at pretty much most positions. But there's no doubt that TO, Welker, Rice, Galloway (once he got healthy), Brandon Marshall and Moss (once he got on a team with a QB) all were able to either maintain their levels or improve them.
Not to mention you threw Plaxico Burress in there as a sign of a bust... but in his first three seasons with the Giants, he had 3300 yards and 29 TDs to 2880 yards and 16 TDs. Wouldn't you call that maintaining or raising his level of success?
