Does jones play middle linabacker or has ibrid role , either Olb ilb?

I believe Jarvis has mainly played only OLB, but is solid against the run & has decent coverage skills so people on here are thinking he could transition to ILB in our system to backup both LB spots.

What he said. I think Jones will be better than most think.

Good question.

One logical answer might be that they like Sio, but have other LB options to explore first before offering Sio a roster spot. It may be as much a matter of the way Bettcher wants to use his LB's and how Moore does or doesn't fit into that space.

(Or not - who knows what our guys are thinking)?

Not so much as the ILB role but the middle of the defense as a whole. It's like all the starting position players on defense were drawn up at position on a white board and some rubbed right through the middle of it.

What is concerning to me is last years draft and how mismanaged it was if their even was a game plan.
