It would've been nice to see Tyler Palko on that list.

I personally am not disappointed that we didn't keep Palko arround. He looked good in his brief appearance against the Steelers and we all fell in love with him, but against the Broncos he looked pretty bad. I understand that he is an UDRFA and that struggles are expected, but he doesn't have many attributes to fall in love with. I liked his effort and athleticism, but he is a bit small, doesn't have very strong arm, didn't look to go through his progressions well, made some poor decisions, and had pretty poor mechanics. I understand that some of those things can be improved with coaching and experience, but I feel there are other developmental QB's with more upside to them. I also feel like this year it is more important to take a flyer on other positions of need with the practice squad and that we ultimately made the right decision by not signing Palko.

Sorry people, don't hate me.

No one is saying make Palko the starter but believe they should have added him to the PS. To me he looked better the Saint who thinks he should be number 2.

He looked like a solid route-runner but not much of a blocking back in the preseason and that's what his coaches said about him on the HBO show Hard Knocks as well.

Sounds like we just located a younger version of Tim Castille. I actually like Harrington and hope he may be some eventual depth at OLB.
