"Arby Rick" on the azcardinals.com board just posted that they're about to announce the naming rights for the stadium. Anyone else hear this? Apparently, he was listening to XTRA...

No way we can name the stadium "Pink Taco Stadium."

There's no way Big Bill has any clue what a Pink Taco really is

C'mon...we all know that "Cardinals Stadium" will still be in the name...

It'll be [Sponsor's Field] at Cardinals Stadium.

So I'm guessing it just those two sophomorish imbeciles with another show where they don't have anything to talk about for four hours. I'm pretty sure the Cards will call a press conference if they sell them name rather than have it leaked through those two vicious little nerds.

There isn't a chance in hell that the NFL would allow "Pink Taco" and if they do, then I already miss Tags.

Supposedly the Morton family gave $3 million a year for naming rights. If true, it won't be Cardinal Stadium anymore. Press conf at 1:30 pm

www.googlefield.com WAS registered back in December (in Scottsdale)...not sure if this means anything or not.

I'm just hoping this is a false lead thrown out there as a smokescreen...

Why would it be Hard Rock Stadium if the Morton family has sold that franchise?

The 5mil according to MJ is a check that they are going to present today at 1:30PM. The avereage would be 3M per year. Also, 10 years seems too short of a duration for a naming rights deal. Can someone come in with other recent deals? Is it becomming more common to have shorter length deals?

DDog, 3M/year would be the richest naming rights deal in AZ history.

From what they are saying now, it doesn't sound like the Cards have signed anything yet and that they are offering this 5M check maybe more as a PR stunt.
