Once again -- value across the board in the draft. All of them played in major conferences and were productive.
If the defensive guys the Cardinals took today come in as advertised, the Cardinals have the makings of one of the fastest, most athletic defenses in the league.
Rolle as the starter, Green to come in on nickel
Blackstock added to the mix at LB (his coach at Virginia - Al Groh -- compared Blackstock to Lawrence Taylor)
Arrington fits in nicely with the Shipp/Hambrick mix.
All in all, pretty solid

We got 2 Starting CB,a starter in JJ and OLB that can bring the heat. Wow this defense is slowly becoming monsters in the desert.

Another awesome first day put together by Green. No projects, major reaches, and we avoided the no talent workout freaks. Again, thank God for Denny Green.
And I want to mention that our defense next year is going to be absolutely sick at pressuring the QB. Rolle and Blackstock can really get after it and they're being added to Berry, Okeafor, Wilson, Dockett, and Dansby. Clancy has an opportunity to get very creative with this D.

The Afternoon Blitz on NFL Radio both said our new outside linebacker would prove to be one of the best players in this draft a few days ago, for what its worth.. I was THRILLED when we drafted him because of that.

Great draft. I was so relieved we didn't trade that first pick. Mike Mayock says we are a legitamate contender for the NFC West now( I know, not saying alot).
